You are both right and wrong. Hollins was pretty good when we traded for him in Summer 2010. He played well for a season and then regressed after returning from Summer 2011. We let go of him in March 2012.
But since then, not only has he find his offensive game again (although still limited to an effective range of 10 feet), but he has improved as a rim protector during his 2 seasons with the Clippers.
I do not mind signing him for the $1.4m of our remaining cap space.
Hollins is also pretty athletic! He could play a limited role on offense by picking and diving to the hoop! Offensive rebounds are easier when you tip in Lebron or Kyries misses.
