You are both right and wrong. Hollins was pretty good when we traded for him in Summer 2010. He played well for a season and then regressed after returning from Summer 2011. We let go of him in March 2012.

But since then, not only has he find his offensive game again (although still limited to an effective range of 10 feet), but he has improved as a rim protector during his 2 seasons with the Clippers.

I do not mind signing him for the $1.4m of our remaining cap space.

Hollins is also pretty athletic! He could play a limited role on offense by picking and diving to the hoop! Offensive rebounds are easier when you tip in Lebron or Kyries misses.
Once bitten, twice shy. I suppose there are worse options than Hollins but I disagree he was ever good for us.

Mup I agree that Hollins was not that great. But I think that he can fill a need and wreck havoc. I remember when the Cavs went to the finals. One of the reasons they beat Pistons and others was the activity around the rim of AV and Drew. I think Hollins AV and Tristan can do the same!!!

Not many choices left. There is only but so much you can get for the money available. Blatche, Hollins, or beat the bushes in Russia.

Blatche is a great rebounder except he does not protect the rim. Gotta go with either Okafor or Hollins.

Someone mentioned Samuel Dalembert in another thread. Is he available or no? He could come in handy.

I wouldn't trust Ryan Hollins to be the starting center on the Canton Charge.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

He is available in a package with J.R. Smith. Otherwise, no.

Ryan Hollins... horrible, except for that one time when he made Chris Bosh look like Ryan Hollins.
Kyrie most of the time when he shoots starts with the ball and then dribbles a while then shoots. -statistical analysis from a 'longtime' Cavs fan (June 2017)

If Wiggins for Love doesn't work out, how about Vucevic for Wiggins?

I thought you might be interested since your frontline is weak and we're a young team Wiggins can grow with. I'm sure Lebron knows Vuc because he's averaged about 25 rebs in his career against the Heat. I think the Magic would include Harris too to matchup the contracts.

Damn dude, get some clue on player values. If we were interested in trading Wiggins to the Magic, it would be at least Vucevic, Gordon, and Payton coming back. That was the deal on the table before the draft and we turned it down. The fact that Orlando was dumb enough to pass on Exum means that the price would be even higher now. So add a 1st round pick from Orlando now too. My gosh.

I wouldn't put Gordon or Payton in a deal. So good luck with the other possible deals.
