Can you imagine what he will be like on defense when he is 25? He was easily a top ten defender at his position at 20. I don't know why you would assume that even if his shot doesn't improve that no other aspects of his game will as well. What will you say when he is 25 and a top 5 defender in the league and one of the best rebounders at his position? Are you going to complain about a guy who is first or second team all-defense averaging 12 ppg, 7 rpg, 2 apg , 2 stlpg, 1 blkpg, and shooting 50% from the field? Are you going to be clamoring for us to trade him for a someone who can can shoot threes for #spacing? He could easily become this player in five years even if his shot barely improves.
