I wasn't judging. I was saying there is no reason for it to happen. The league has precautions in place so something like this doesn't happen which is primarily why you hear of it happening so little. Mistake? Yes. Easily avoidable? Absolutely.
I think people are entitled to judge each other when it comes to public safety or health issues. I don't think it means that you're better than somebody as a person however I think it appropriate to criticize each other regardless whether you're an athlete or celebrity when it comes to breaking the law in a potentially harmful manner. Driving drunk or impaired endangers innocent people. I've lost an uncle to an impaired motorist and all I can say is driving is a privilege people take for granted. In Oregon you can get a DUI for falling asleep at the wheel too.
People often live their lives making seemingly unimportant decisions until it causes harm to themselves or someone else. Luckily, Tucker didn't hurt anyone.
I still like Tucker as a player and hope he learns from his mistake. It's his to own however his fans and employer reacts.
