I'm not one of the people saying "I wish Bledsoe acted like this or said that" but reading this in the wire tap made me feel a little like I wish Bledsoe had an approach more like this.

Lowry received strong interest in free agency from the Houston Rockets, Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers, but ultimately decided to remain with Toronto.

"[Lowry] analyzed [free agency] very analytically and introspectively, rather than, 'Oh, I can get the money,'" the source said.

On the evening of July 2, Lowry agreed to a new four-year, $48 million contract extension.

"[The Raptors] weren't always the favorite, but Masai wanted to get the deal done, and it made it a lot easier," Lowry said in Las Vegas recently after a workout. "[Miller and I] approached it as a business and so did [the Raptors]. At the end of the day, I didn't wait for [the other teams]. I wanted to make my decision for myself."

I have been one of the main ones telling Bucks fans where they can go with thier trade ideas, but if Bled is hell bent on leaving and the Bucks actually want him then Knight and another asset + a pick if we can get one, is not a horrible option. Knight isnt a bad basketball player, and (I know it is overused here on this forum), would actually benefit from our system much like Bledso did. The kid is young, talented and while not as good defensivly as Bled, I think is a better pure shooter. I actually think he and Goran could play together and next year when he is a restricted free-agent wont command as high of a salary as Bledso, allowing us to not worry about money we give Goran. And Knight is pretty injury free (atleast major surgeries). If it does not work, he will be an asset moving ahead just like everyone else because he is worth his current contract and then some.

Not saying I want to dump Bled, I hope he pulls his head out of his kiester, but that Knight + assets depending on what they are is not a horrible, the kid has shown he can ball not to mention we should atleast be able to also get a guy like Henson or Illy out of it, if not more.

More assets moving foward... more cushion for the pushin!!!!

I don't know about you guys but I'm getting sick of talking about Bledsoe. This has got to end. Hold outs never end well. I need some positive because other than the great signing of Thomas, this offseason has been nothing but drama that this team doesn't need.

At what point does all this start trickling into next season?

I agree but we are nowhere near the point this should be called a holdout.

I do, it's called a process for a reason. Until we pass a deadline, it's not a holdout.

Tony Parker signed a deal for $15 million. He's a 4x champion, a finals MVP, a 6x all-star, 3x all-nba second team, among others.

I hope this shut his agent up and they are walking over to the US Airways Center now and signing that 4/$48 deal. No way you give a player $14 million with ZERO success and a player with all that success signs for $15.

You don't understand, $12M/yr is an amazing contracting for Bledsoe.

If you asked me right after the season ended, I would even say that's an overpay from our side.

$48M is just ton of money for a guy who has played for barely 40 games as a starter and looked decent in. This isn't like James Harden in OKC.

I love Vice. I have been watching their stories on their website for years before HBO signed them on. I recommended checking out their videos on North Korea. Its crazy how they got in there. Hamilton's Pharmacopeia is a great series on their site, as well as my favorite, Thumbs Up!.

Yeah, I want to keep Bled, but if it somehow gets toxic and he just won't sign for less than the max, I don't think him, Middleton and a pick is that bad. Middleton is a nice player and could be insurance for Green potentially leaving if he got a huge offer next summer. He's SG with nice size who shot 41% from 3 last year. http://www.basketball-reference.com/pla ... lkh01.html

Check out his game logs from Feb-Apr last year...scored quite a bit. http://www.basketball-reference.com/pla ... elog/2014/

Having said that, I'd of course rather have Bledsoe.

I enjoyed using Middleton on my fantasy basketball this season. I think he's got what it takes. Plus we can totally start calling him "the Dutchess of Phoenix".

If Andy V wasn't so injury prone I'd say yes.

We're gonna need Wiggins in any trade of Bledsoe to the Cavs.
