I think Bledsoe will end up a sun, and whether he wants to be here or not he'll play well because he wants to have a good deal next go around as well and it is, you know, his career. Like Batum who didn't want to stay in Portland, he'll be a damn good player for us. I hope we as fans will stop with this knee jerk reactions to trade him for scraps.
A lot of players want to play for the Lakers at max. If he wants to hope for a max to a team like that he needs to try and go for a two year deal.
In all likelihood, he will sign for something like 4/52. I don't see any knee jerk reactions lately to trade him for scraps. I think most people want to keep him, at least until the season starts. If it goes into the season as a stalemate, I'd consider something (like what I mentioned from Milwaukee or possibly that Sac deal just mentioned yet hadn't been mentioned when you posted this) just because I wouldn't want the cloud over our head months into the season.
I'd be 100% confident he would eventually sign around our offer if it was any other agent. I wouldn't be surprised though if his agent rejected the QO and let this drag into the season, because that's when Bledsoe could begin to build leverage.
