Yes - he has great metrics in terms of rim protection. MJ might be a tough trade Partner though, don't see him wanting to help us plug our largest remaining hole.

That team is still not going to get Kevin Love into the playoffs and he was extremely close to being traded last year. I know its a different regime there, but you have to wonder if KLove ends up on the block this year. Hope for losses in Minny!

Haywood/future 1st for Asik
draft Willie Cauley-Stein with the Memphis pick (hopefully it's a mid-lotto pick)
sign Afflalo with the MLE
Irving/Delly
Waiters/Afflalo
LeBron/Miller/Jones
Love/Thompson/Marion
Asik/Varejao/WCS
That would be awesome.
Another nice scenario would be Haywood/future 1st for Bledsoe, draft WCS, and sign Chandler with the MLE:
Irving/Delly
Waiters/Bledsoe
LeBron/Miller/Jones
Love/Thompson/Marion
Varejao/Chandler/WCS

He's not getting anywhere near the max because he deserves to come off the bench when he isn't injured and sitting on the bench in a suit.

Salary cap -- we won't have the cap space to just sign him outright, it'd have to be a trade.

It doesn't matter what you think he's worth. He has said he wants the max, and you have offered him a role on the bench. Good luck with that.

Just to clarify, I didn't mean to imply that Bledsoe was merely being offered a role on the bench. Should have added a "or visa versa" after them on my hypothetical depth chart because I don't know who would start. I'm sure he'd have plenty of opportunity to compete for a starting spot. Nothing wrong with having 3 exceptionally good guards, and there'd be plenty of minutes to go around, probably enough for all 3 to get 35+ mpg, especially since there are probably going to be a decent number of missed games due to injuries.
I'm actually not much of a Bledsoe fan, I'd prefer the other hypothetical scenario with Asik and Afflalo.
