Gassed Jonas couldn't keep up with the sprinting Slovenian big. Too bad.

Lithuania owned the inside, but I still don't know why they can't get a whistle from the refs. Zero FTs in the blowout against Korea and now they're getting smacked around by Slovenia and not getting to the line.

What the hell is the point of trying to trap the guard if no one rotates? This has been going on since the beginning of August.

Jonas is a stiff compared with the Slovenian centre. That guy is even taller than JV, yet he stills seems quicker on his feet. Dissapointing.

Yeah it's really not smart at all. Especially when nobody rotates, and your personnel just isn't capable of performing that type of defense effectively. Jonas isn't quick enough anymore to do that.

That match up has hardly been an issue so far. No one can guard JV and the only points the Slovenian center has scored (from what I can remember) have been from bad Lithuanian turnovers to run outs and that wide open dunk because no on rotated.

EDIT: And I'm still not sure whose fault that pick and roll defense is.

I just say what I see. That Omic guy is quicker, yet not as strong as JV. JV is scoring at will, I'm not dissing his input on offense. Yet on defense, his PnR defense doesn't add much to the team's effort. Not saying LTU is good with it.

Yeah, offense looks solid. Jonas has looked all right on defense but he's had a couple lapses. Looks like the coach was mad at him last time on defense. Could have just been because of a missed rebound.

Jonas moved his feet well there guarding Dragic on the switch. Just didn't time the block correctly.

Too bad Lithuania can't defend as a team.
