Interesting that the Portland writer who wrote pro-Paul/Bledsoe last month now moved to Cleveland to cover Cavs.

I guess if you write a sycophantic piece where you suck on Lebron's agent's behind, you too can get a promotion to Cleveland to worship at the feet of the King.

I know it's tampering, but I'm sure it's done and would be one of the only rational reasons Bledsoe would actually play for the QO.

I doubt it. Nobody keeps a secret forever (except the dead). The moment the relationship sours, the truth will come out. And chances are, it will come out long before the relationship goes south. I can't see anyone willing to risk facing what happened to the Wolves when they did something similar. Especially since the next big tampering scandal will probably be dealt with even harsher than before.

I'm sure it happens all the time. Not like a handshake deal. Plus, it's not really tampering as he can have discussions with teams this summer. They could have easily told him we don't have max cap space right now but will next summer when the Gay deal is up and would love to have you come play for us. I don't think that's tampering...it's certainly not enough to PROVE there was any tampering if nothing was written down, guaranteed or recorded.

Thought you meant the actual negotiating between Rich Paul and Babby. I was thinking....favourite movie of all time? It's 3 hours in and nothing has happened

I'm pretty sure it is tampering and I'm pretty sure you're mistaken; it doesn't happen all the time. The risks are just too great. It doesn't take much at all to qualify as tampering and as I said, nobody keeps a secret forever. Look at what's going on in the NFL now with Jerry Jones and that's nowhere near as serious of a violation as what you're talking about. Maybe GM's talk to their agents and those guys turn around and feel out other player agents but I think that's as far as it goes.

If the Bledsoe situation doesn't work out, does anybody think its time to take a second look at Eric Gordon? Apparently he's healthy and the Pelicans may want to shed some salary.

Yeah right. Most message board geeks wouldn't get a second look from the sister either.
