CP3 and Westbrook should be really close this year, it's not outta the question.

Are we talking H2H instead of or in addition to the ROTO league?
In addition to the roto league, of course. The Premier league is always the Premier league and that's the one we all want to win. But this would be a side league for those who wish to play a H2H league with other forum members, who will no doubt still be very competitive.

I prefer CP3 more than Westbrook, but to each his own. TASTIC was a CP3 owner last season, and I remember CP3 going nuts at the start of the season, which catapulted TASTIC's team up the rankings.

That is all!!!
Or you could just not post anything about it at all if you don't want to join. Im doing this because I want to play a h2h league, which I haven't done in about three/four seasons. I have only ever done one team per year, so for the past few seasons its only been the realgm Suns league and roto.
Right now we've got four players, so we're 8 off our minimum target.
don't take offense Sunskerr. It's not a go at you or anyone else really, I just refuse to play H2H in Bball or......well any other league other than NFL really. Too many variables when talking schedule. If you play H2H smartly you just rotate your bottom 3 players with the waiver wire so you have maximum games played. IMO there is not a lot of skill involved in H2H for this reason.

As Adam Silver would say, "the pick is in," so all I need is the green light!

Don't understand the logic with H2H not requiring skill.
Same basic principles apply. ROTO is a lot more dependent on a good draft because making up ground can be nearly impossible once you get a ways into the season.
There are a max number of games played so you can't just max out games every day. For instance in ESPN there is a max of 40 games(though if you end Saturday at 39 you can play 10 on Sunday so a sort of max of 49 games) so a lot of times you have to not play guys to insure that you can actually have games played on Sunday.
There is more than enough strategy in H2H leagues. If you don't like it, that's fine. But saying it doesn't require skill is off base.
The scheduling is actually part of the skill. I'm not sure how you can say things like the different schedules makes it unfair but also say it doesn't require skill.

I have never played ESPN, but if it indeed has a max number of games per week, then that would be a shipload better. Yahoo! (The leagues I played in with H2H) never had a max number of games per week. It was basically a free for all and the teams that picked up and dropped players willie nillie were always up the top of the standings. I actually caught onto this when I last played and after being down the bottom all season picked up this strategy, scraped into the playoffs and took the league out. LOL.
As for not requiring skill, I stand by it. If you pick KD and your opponent has LBJ and you just happen to play against him/her when KD has 2 games in the week and LBJ has 5 games, you've got very little chance of getting the W. This has very little to do with skill. Also add to that the Playoffs coincide with the end of the season when many stars and integral parts are being rested. At least in Roto you can plan for such a thing during the season by playing more games. Much more strategy and skill involved.

My friend is pending currently. I will probably create another thread soon with details and a better list of confirmed/pending. That will also help us get the word out. Again, we're definitely still open. If you want to join, let me know by posting here or (much preferred) by sending me a PM. This will be an offline draft on this board for sure.

ALL fantasy has a luck factor. H2H may have a bit more simply because there is a playoff so health during that time is critical.

Being better than another team over a single week has a lot of luck involved in it. It' s not just injuries, there's also the number of games played per week by each team per week, and suspensions. Being better over a whole season doesn't have anywhere near as much luck involved as even injuries can be dealt with a lot easier in ROTO, since u can come up with long term strategies and replacements to minimize damage, unlike H2H were a short term injuries destroys your team in the playoffs
