"Hobson's Choice" ...I love it!
Good sleuthing with the Termini-Saunders connection. Kudos.
So I'm clear on your suspicions..
Do you believe this "T-Wolves would accept Bledsoe at max" is a complete sham? Saunders saying "go ahead, float it" as a favor to his agent. Then leaked only as device in PHX-Bled talks?
Or
Yes. Bledsoe would (perhaps reluctantly) agree to go to Minnesota at the max, and Saunder would actually pull the trigger, but only in crazy good deal such as- Martin/Buddinger/Barrea/Small lowering of the 1st rd protection for '15 or '16 in exchange? With Saunders pretty much knowing McD/Babby would almost surely not agreeing to it.
I think Saunders is legitimately interested in Bledsoe especially if he can dump off bad players/contracts in exchange. Who would not to acquire Beldsoe for the likes of Buddinger, Barea, Pek, Brewer or whatever other garbage they want to throw into the pot.
I see this more as a favor to his agent Termini and by association Paul, to jack with the Suns and get them to capitulate to Paul's demands.
Yes, I think the same.
They have a ton of "bad" contracts, so in reality the wouldn't spend too much money on Bledsoe's deal.
I don't like Rubio, Martin or Pekovic.None of them are starters for a playoff team in my opinion.
I think that Young is a good player and Dieng is a really good C, if we make finally a trade he should be a must. Lavine have real upside on him, it would be great to get him too.
Have to ask yourself why are the T-Wolves insiders saying their focus is on Rubio and not Bledsoe?
