Nothing. LeBron is gaining something he's been wanting since the summer of 2010. To be forgiven.
Forgiven for what? For leaving for a better situation after his contract ran out? For wanting to win a championship something he was not going to do with the Cavs at the time?
It seems to me you look at basketball just as a game. It is big business too. Lebron had nothing to be forgiven for.
He did not demand a trade and played to the best of his abilities while on the Cavs the first time.
LeBron expressed regret for how "The Decision" came off and felt guilty for how it made Clevelanders feel (especially young Cavs fans who may have looked up to him). He said he always felt like he'd finish his career in Cleveland, but in order to do that he had to make things right... he didn't want to be hated by people in his home region any longer (who does?)... and so he sought forgiveness and received it.
