IT lost over $30M because he's 3 inches shorter...damn.

No he lost 30 million Becuase he's an awful defender and his selfishness, but very efficient, offensive skills only have so much value.

His game is very similar to Kyrie's, who just got maxed out. I guess we'll see, but I really do think it's just that he's 5' 9''. They height plays into his defensive deficiencies because he gets put on the block quite frequently. I don't think of him as a selfish guy by any means either.

The talent advantage is certainly on Kyrie's side but in the end, it's what you are able to produce on court that really matters, not talent. However, for young players, they are paid on talent and potential. Many evaluators would've seen IT's production then saw his height and decided he's probably very close to reaching his ceiling whereas Kyrie still has a ton of room to improve.

If you browse through the other team boards, you will see almost all of them talking about dragic. Everyone wants dragic after this season. Don't think people realize suns have plenty of money to offer him after the season. Plus dragic already hinted he would like to resign quickly.

To me it's almost a foregone conclusion that dragic is going to resign. Granted, I may be wrong but I doubt it.

So this offseason is done. Next offseason check list.
1) quickly resign dragic
2) get a quality big

Those two things happen and I will be quite happy.

Sidenote: I think there may be some small tinkering of the roster during the season. Maybe trade Ennis (toooo many PGs).

I still think Ennis was drafted to be traded.

I agree. I also wouldn't be surprised if IT was signed to be traded too.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

I think we had genuine interest in signing IT to play for the team long term and also partly as an insurance piece in case Bledsoe was moved. I don't think we're likely to trade him since our guard depth isn't particularly strong in terms of talent. After Goran, Bledsoe and IT, the talent level drops a fair bit to Ennis/Zoran/Goodwin.

That said, I could see us moving the Twins + IT for a legit big man.

Two questions:
1) who are the pg needy teams?
2) what is a reason expectation for return from an Ennis trade?

Interesting. What the hell does Cleveland even have that is worth trading for? Obviously their big their are untouchable. So I guess that leaves waiters.

I don't understand what people get out of posting fake trade rumors on twitter. TSpence is a proven fraud and isn't even a reporter, he's just some random fan. Might want to read this http://rubechat.kfan.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=279082

Oh ok

I was just browsing through other boards. Saw it and figured I would post it.

Also the bucks board is entertaining. Had to go read their board after the summer long bugging of their fans or should I say Paul pressey or whatever his screenname is. Half of them think we have no future the other half think we are stacked.

Yeah, some of those Bucks fans seem pretty salty they we signed Bledsoe. Some are saying we suck but they were all begging their FO sign Bledsoe for even more then we signed him for.

So let's get this straight
Bledsoe
Dragic
Thomas
Dragic
Ennis
Green
Tucker
Goodwin
CusMo
KeifMo
Tolliver
Len
Plumlee

That's guaranteed 13 guys..... Who am I missing? Two roster spots available.

Presently, we look to be a running team with hybrid lineups.... This could be a season where we will rely on our second unit to be a blitzkrieg group like the days of old... A Bell to bell, basket to basket frenetically paced squad

At most you can get a protected 1st for Ennis.
It was a waste of a pick, just that simple, you could've drafted McGary, Hood, trade-up, draft Nurkic instead of Warren with the 14th and pick a wing later... just a pretty bad draft.
Bogdanovic was overdrafted aswell, and Alec Brown is not even a draftable prospect and you drafted him ahead of Micic.

Well you never know how draft picks are going to turn out. I guess you weren't a Gary Harris fan either? I thought they'd take Hood or Harris watching it play out.

Surprised you like McGary as a potential nba guy more than Ennis. He may not be prototypical nba, but as a freshman he basically was the best piece of the #1 team country for much of the year. He is unlikely to get much of a chance ever in Phx, but he definitely seems to be a smart determined player. I'm guessing you were not high on Steph Curry out of college either?
