Am going to try to be optimistic. The rockets exposed our weakness (which is probably everything) and the coaching staff really haven't had practice time to resolve this since it was the rear end of a back to back... hopefully better showing against the Clippers.

Maybe so Ty, but the end result will still be the same because we simply don't have the talent on this team to compete on a nightly basis. I am not seeing it.

For a minute I was optimistic we would have an outside shot at 8th seed and we'd be fun to watch IF:

1. Kobe came back healthy with efficient production (eg 18-7) with limited minutes
2. Nash came back healthy and looking sharp
3. Scott got the team to buy into defense first mindset
4. Production by committee out of front line
5. Rookie contributions
6. Surprising bench

There is nothing we can do with this squad. We need scoring from Kobe but it has to be efficient and as our only threat, he will face double teams and continue to take difficult shots. Alot of them outside the paint. If he plays as a facilitator, our lives will depend on Wesley Johnson and others making shots. Either way, we are f'd.

Most teams are simply flat out better than us and the record history will show that.

Your guys' ceiling is that of an 8 seed, don't act like your **** don't stink. You aren't winning a championship before we do, and we are at rock bottom. Who's the real loser here?

Kobe needs to realize that this is what every team will try to do to him and the Lakers

Is this a real comment? if Kobe doesn't score 30, we won't break 80 ppg most nights. Heck, we struggled to score 90 against the Rockets with Kobe shooting 6-17.
