this team's weakness is basketball.

Yeah like the Suns weakness has been the finals or lack thereof.

I expect Kobe to have a revelation and change his approach to this team after he feels them out. Like he did 2nd half of the season before he went down with the Achilles injury.[/quote]
Maybe so Ty, but the end result will still be the same because we simply don't have the talent on this team to compete on a nightly basis. I am not seeing it.
For a minute I was optimistic we would have an outside shot at 8th seed and we'd be fun to watch IF:
1. Kobe came back healthy with efficient production (eg 18-7) with limited minutes
2. Nash came back healthy and looking sharp
3. Scott got the team to buy into defense first mindset
4. Production by committee out of front line
5. Rookie contributions
6. Surprising bench
There is nothing we can do with this squad. We need scoring from Kobe but it has to be efficient and as our only threat, he will face double teams and continue to take difficult shots. Alot of them outside the paint. If he plays as a facilitator, our lives will depend on Wesley Johnson and others making shots. Either way, we are f'd.
Most teams are simply flat out better than us and the record history will show that.

Is the board gonna be invaded by snot nose posters looking to get their shots and jokes off all season with no repercussions ?
Some of the stuff I see is just uncalled for.

Your guys' ceiling is that of an 8 seed, don't act like your **** don't stink. You aren't winning a championship before we do, and we are at rock bottom. Who's the real loser here?

Is this a real comment? if Kobe doesn't score 30, we won't break 80 ppg most nights. Heck, we struggled to score 90 against the Rockets with Kobe shooting 6-17.
I'm with Deep on this - Is this the way the season is going to go on this forum, random trolls from the other team coming into our game threads spewing nonsense to kick us while we're down.

Some of you guys need to calm down. This is the second straight GT I'm having to lock and this season isn't going to get any more pleasant. We are going to suck and people are going to tell us that we suck, I can't warn them for telling the truth either.
Cheers,
