He was nothing but a 3pt chucker.
The guy who was "nothing but a 3PT chucker" was heavily featured in the top 5, 5-man units last season. The 5 best, 5-man units that shot the highest eFG% last season also all featured him in various front court roles as well.
Also not that you care about stats but in games where he "chucked" (+7 3pt attempts), he shot 42%.
I don't suppose you know how many times we were blown out (ie lost by 10+ points) last season would you? Seven times. A grand total of 7 times in an 82 game season. Guess how many times we blew teams out? 19 times.
Awe that's really great, yes I'm well aware of those stats, Los Soles tried to plant it into everyone's head before.
I'm sure that Frye is the reason those lineups did well, not because of Dragic's improvement or because of Hornacek's coaching or anything like that.
Frye is so good and yet how come he didn't get the MAX? Based on what I'm hearing about him from you and rsvarj and Los Soles, shouldn't Frye be getting Kobe type money?
I can't wait til Frye wins 48 games with the Magic this season. That should get Orlando a top 4 seed in the East, no?
Lol so glad that the person actually in charge (Ryan McDonough) saw past all the cute advanced stats and didn't pay him that ridiculous amount to bring him back.
I'm not gonna say Frye is the worst player or anything like that, he's a fine bench player like was back in 2010 when we made our WCFs run. He's no starter though. I was fine with bringing Frye back on a $2-$3M type deal, little bit more than what Matt Bonner makes. But hell no at what Orlando gave him.
