great offensive players don't have to play with ricky rubio or chris paul to be good. Jordon, kobe, barkley, LeBron, wade, etc, etc, etc, etc never had old school prototypical pgs next to them. the whole conversation is a crutch to defend other players on this team for not being ready to get the ball and do whatever they want with it yet.
One ball, one shot clock, one guy benefiting from Knight on ball.
nice story. convince his teammates hes a ballhog. they seem unconvinced to me.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

massive exaggeration and even if it were true so what. the better the other guys become the less we'll run the offense thru him anyway. as it relates to the future its a non issue.

I'd have to think if we put Henson, Middleton, Knight, Wolters and 2017 1st on the table (not altogether obviously) they would listen. I'd be slightly worried about us getting too good too fast with Lawson on this team, and he's not really that young, comes with a $12m price tag, and is only controlled until 2017 iirc.

He is 27, so if you figure our "window" opens up in about 4 years you are catching him on the downside of his career for sure.
There's plenty of precedent in recent seasons for NBA teams to usher in a new era with first-time, often very young executives and coaches. Yet there's a material difference between the blueprint in Orlando, Philadelphia and Phoenix and the strategy in Denver. The Sixers are flirting with the salary floor, while Orlando and Phoenix have committed well short of $60 million this season. In contrast, the Nuggets' payroll ranks squarely in the top 10, and the team has a corporate imperative to win basketball games. The Suns have managed to straddle the line between frugality and success, but they've simply been far more resourceful, more faithful to an organizational vision and have better taste in basketball players. What we call an embarrassment of riches in Phoenix's backcourt we call a logjam in Denver's frontcourt. The difference is method versus madness.
Kroenke conveys an awareness of all this but dismisses any suggestion that the Nuggets would be better off holding a fire sale. Quite the contrary, the Nuggets have pledged to their fans they're in it to win.

I think the one type of player the Raps need is a defensive, rim-protecting centre although I do think Dudley would help them more than Landry Fields.
