I think for even the diehard detractors the bar for GMEG to clear would be if we won a championship. Which is as it should be -- no fan should be satisfied with less than that, otherwise what are we competing for?

WINNING the championship is the only way we can clear EG

Just getting to the ECF or the NBA Finals won't do it. He got the Bucks and Knicks there.

Hilarious. Best team in over 30 years and some Wizards fans are miserable about it. Let's go back and hire Unseld as GM. Let's market LeBron or Anthony Davis as reasons to watch the Wizards. I sure do miss the good ole days of Charles Jones starting at center or Manute and Muggsy. Those were the good ole days.

Uh pretty much. Wall is that good...all he needed was semi-competent talent surrounding him for this team to succeed. Same thing applies for most franchise players. I mean honestly Zards...is anyone else on this team even remotely all-star worthy except for Wall? Beal is improving, but he's not there yet. Everyone else on the team are journeymen.
