Wizards at Rockets (12/29/14) Player of the game thread

Post#1 » by hands11 » Tue Dec 30, 2014 4:17 am

No poll.

Just post who you want.

I'm to freakn happy we pulled that out.

I'm calling it a team win.

http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/playbypla ... =400578755

I hadn't even looked at the box scores until just now.

OMG.. BEAL 33.. Wall 12 assists Nene and Paul were huge as well.

I guess you give it to PLAYOFF BEAL if anyone but it took them all

Beal. 11 out of 17 shots taken were threes. Also, 10 for 10 from FT line is big time.

I nominate 4th Quarter Ariza aka Yo RZA

He had like 4 TOs in the 4th

Seriously Beal and Truth brought it

The poll should be this

Marty McCutchen or Joey Crawford. Choose only one.

Or maybe the poll should be, Marty McCutchen... great referee, or, the greatest referee?

Beal had his best game of the season. His defense was solid tonight if you watched the game.

Paul Pierce deserves honorable mention because he was a stabilizing force for when things got #SoWizards with the turnovers.

Beal. Then Pierce, then Wall. Nene was big too.

LVP goes to Drew Gooden. Man the bench play was awful, but we won so who cares!

Bench struggled but...

RASUAL still got it done.

We are going to see Webster return any day now. Nice to know he is in the wings if we need him.

Tie goes to the starters minus gortat. Def. Not wittman. Def. Not anyone on the bench. They better bring it tomorrow or we r toast.

1. Bradley Beal- All things considered, I thought he outplayed James Harden. It took Beal 17 shots to get his 33 while it took Harden 23 shots. Yes Harden had 1 more assist and 1 more rebound, a few less turnovers, but Beal spread the defense and let Wall fill up the assist for the team.

2. Paul Pierce- 21 points on 9 shots and 3 steals. Looks like Pierce wanted to prove a point to Trevor Ariza.

3. Nene- 12 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals. He pretty much shut down Josh Smith and probably could have drawn a couple of offensive charges had he not faced the flop master in James Harden

4. John Wall- 12 assists and 4 steals were nice and he was clutch with his free throws down the stretch.

5. Gortat- he eventually was able to slow down Dwight Howard in the 2nd half and anchored the defense while he was in the game.

Beal. But Nene is a close close second. Nothing but good things came when he was on the court.

Beal & Paul definatelly.

but overall it was all starters who won this game. Sorry byt 2nd unit with Hump, KS, Otto and most of all Gooden was awful.

We need Blair to be ready to play. For now it looks like He is mentally out of rotation and a little bit to fat and slow.

Return to Washington Wizards
