He's in total Panthers mode right now.

You can be mad about Biz or Cody getting benched. I'm not interested in arguing about that. I'm just pointing out that he's getting minutes by default.
Frame Clifford as irrational if you want to. I'm not trying to defend him when I talk about Maxiell. All I'm saying is that there is a void and Maxiell is filling it.

He has played down the stretch of a fourth quarter in just one of the four games we've played without Al. He's played more minutes than Biz in just one of the four games we've played without Al.
You would think he was getting starters minute by the way you are talking about him.

If he retires or doesn't manage to find a team for the next season, it will really be a year for the ages. Is there another 280-pounder on an unguaranteed contract who found himself minutes like this? Whilst playing for a team that contended for the playoffs?
Nothing against the guy, but he should have acquired Nazr Mohammed type of total minutes, not play eight times more than Nazr.

I do not want him back if it's ever going to come at the expense of any of our bigs. Is Clifford going to use him as the 15th man and an extension of the coaching staff? Then sure, bring him back Pargo style. Maxiell gives us squat on the floor. Pretty sure a 40-year-old Bismack would be able to give us more.
