0-2 since spygate by the hands of the same team. Havent wont a superbowl in a decade.

i like the colts chances against the pats...they need to have somewhat of a decent running attack though to have a chance. i think luck will rise to the occasion again. god i love this kid.

i dont think the packers really have a chance against the shawks. they will exploit his(rodgers) injury...i think the shawks pass rush will get to rodgers quickly and often.

Should have added "best Winning Percentage in Regular Season History" as well

you are right though, "spygate" would have prevented a Helmet Catch and your best possession WR dropping an easy pass (and prevented that HIGH ankle sprain of Gronk)...yup it would have prevented all those, no doubt!!

The Pats have to win another SB before they get to yell from the mountaintops about Brady and how good they are,

I don't understand this notion that Brady somehow isn't that great if he doesn't win. The fact that his team is a contender every single year despite vastly different supporting casts is proof that he's awesome. 1 team out of 32 teams win every year...not being that 1 team doesn't make you a failure. Never mind the fact that he pretty much always gets his team deep into the playoffs too. 9 AFC title games, 5 SB appearances...he's putting his team in position to be that 1 team almost every year. So they haven't won in a little while...so what? If it wasn't for two fluke plays in the last 2 SBs, he would have led them to #4 and #5...just like fluke plays in the first 3 SBs could have negated all 3 of those. Doesn't change the caliber of player he is.

NFL PLAYOFF 2014-15: DIVISIONAL Weekend

Post#149 » by dr3am » Mon Jan 12, 2015 1:19 pm

The Pats blew the Colts out with ease. I don't see why people think Indy is a threat to them, they had no answer for gronk at all. Ravens have always gave brady & the pats problems..it was a nice win by Indy yesterday but the Broncos & Peyton specifically have been playing terrible the entire month of December

SN: And no Brady will not surpass Montana if he beats Seattle in the SB

Agreed.

People using the fact that Brady lost two Super Bowls against him is a little silly. His team is elite every year and he was literally two wacky/fluky plays away from winning both of those games.

I've always been on the Peyton Manning side of this argument, but now I'm leaning the other way. Brady is just so damn good in the playoffs in comparison. I think if he wins the Super Bowl this year he is firmly without a doubt the GOAT QB.

Using SB losses against someone is literally one of the dumbest arguments ever. It's penalizing someone for not losing early and actually getting his team deep into the playoffs. It makes no sense.

That's why I think Warner should be in the HOF. He took two **** teams (the year before he started for them) and got them to the SB (twice with the Rams). He also has the three highest passing yard games in Super Bowl history. 48 Super Bowls. 96 qb starts. He has the top 3 out of all 96.

I didn't think Indy was but they look like a different team. Some qbs seem to play better with more on the line. Kurt Warner, Andrew Luck, Flacco.

Manning seems to play worse. Brady plays a little worse, at least it seems that way in the past few years until this past game.

I just don't know that I'd EVER count Luck out.

What a great weekend of football!!!

- a team ran for 129 yards, threw for 292 yards with 4 TD passes, with 33 minutes of possessions and still managed to lose the game.

- with that safety Blitz coming clear, amazing vision/throw/catch by Romo/Dez

- Kind of glad to hear that Peyton was injured the last month or so, cause I could not comprehend those miss-throws yesterday..Sanders&Thomas had their men beat.. if true then no reason to retire..

- no doubt that Russel is turning into an Elite QB....at this rate, they wont need Marshawn anymore
