Assuming Harris will resign (verbally commits)... Yes.

Well since he is a RFA then who cares about a verbal commit, i'd do this deal easy

I like Harris, but he looks more like a solid starter on a good team than a star to me. In what I've seen he has seemed a little slow and old school in his moves. A smart player, but not the killer instinct you really want in one of your top 3. I would be interested in acquiring him, but we would need to be cautious about the purchase price. Take the risk, but let the price reflect the risk.

Personally, I think Harris is worth a gamble… offer Morris twins and Thomas…. See if Magic accepts.
They have Aaron Gordon waiting on the wings as their SF and having Thomas off the bench can help them get some wins whilst having a young team.

Why gut our team, for a guy we might have to do the Bledsoe wait and see summer with again? F*ck it, let's trade Goran, Bledsoe, and IT for him. People keep selling our guys short, and forgetting that McD doesn't do stupid trades.

Because Tobias Harris could be the next Harden. 17/8 is great numbers for a 22 year old.

He really could be the next star.

Then why would the Magic trade him? So you would trade 40 points from our team for 17? MkMo has 15/6 in a position we need. Back to Madman huh?

I don't mind acquiring Harris, I just think your trade sucks balls, and has little thoughts that McD would put into a trade. Harris is shooting for a big payday, and we just secured MkMo for about half of that. I doubt McD would see 2/2 a reason to give an extra $7 mil to.

And you can stop with the  , you mad a stupid trade, not me. Now if we were getting back an equal amount, I could see McD thinking about it, but three rotational guys on very good contracts?

I wouldn't trade the MoBros for Harris, but I would trade Dragic for em. We'd have to trade Tucker somewhere too.
Has any successful team ever ran a lineup of two tweeners at the SF and PF spot? Who knows it might be effective.

I'd rather trade IT, Plumlee, and a pick for Harris, and O'Quinn.

Oh, no doubt. But would the Magic accept that deal? Probably not.

They would want to throw in Ben Gordon, and ask for one of our rookies, but it just seems like a deal that McD would put forth.

Since the twins just signed their extensions, the money doesn't work out unless the Magic include a bunch of guys, or Frye. If I include Frye and O'Quinn, Orl gets a plus five, and we get a negative eight.

Suns have to look into trading Dragic. There is no way to defend him at this point. He is having a bad year. He is down nearly 4 ppg, down 2 asst, and his 3p% is down about 6%. Take a look at his performances in the last 8 games against Western Conference playoff teams ahead of the Suns:

1/9 vs. San Antonio- 17 points
1/11 vs. Memphis- 9 points
1/21 vs. Portland- 16 points
1/23 vs. Houston- 2 points (Benched after 18 minutes)
1/25 vs. LAC- 10 points
1/31 vs. Golden State- 10 points
2/2 vs. Memphis- 15 points
2/5 vs. Portland- 9 points

Dragic is averaging 11 ppg over that stretch. Five games with 10 points or less. Suns went 1-7 in those eight games with the only win coming against Portland on 1/21 where they blew a 25 point lead and barely came back to win. This is supposed to be the guy that was 3rd team All NBA last year and should have been on the all star team. I know there is an emotional attachment to Dragic but he has not played anywhere near the level he did last year. Thomas or no Thomas. This is on Dragic at this point. He looks a step slow, especially in transition, and his defense is non-existent as well. He had 19 games last year where he scored 25 or more points including 9 games where he scored 30 or more. This year he only has 4 games of 25 or more points and 1 game of 30 or more points. That is really not good at all.

Btw, I would still trade IT too. I think the Suns should trade both him and Dragic. I believe two things are probably going to happen. Dragic will leave the Suns in free agency and OKC will move ahead of the Suns this season whether they deserve to or not. The league will not let last year's MVP miss the playoffs and just watch as the Thunder start winning more and more games.

So if the Suns are not making the playoffs, might as well cash out now and trade some guys to free up playing time for Goodwin, Warren, and Ennis. What do the Suns have to lose? 1-7 in your last eight games against Western Conference playoff teams is all you need to know.

Be prepared for Dragic Fanboys to blame anyone and everyone for his poor performances (Except for Dragic himself that is!).

Dragic looks uninterested. It's clear as day he hates this 3 PG bull s**t. He wants to go on a normal team probably.

Unless we get rid of the 3 PG crap, I agree it's time to move him.

I can't wait he explodes and plays well wherever he goes though. Then the Suns coaching staff and FO will finally get criticism from the media.

I like Dragic a lot. I like the way he plays. Im impressed with how easily he gets to the basket, and how many fast break points he gets. He is in a new role from how last year ended up, but I could see how he seems off this year. I'd still rather just move IT than Dragic. I'd rather see if Bledsoe and him could work well together again, and I much rather go back to always having one of the two on the floor at all times. I think that was an excellent move last season.

I think it would be dumb to move both.

I think we should incorporate one young guy a game though, maybe in the second quarter with mostly starters. If we do somehow make the playoffs, we will need maybe one or two of them to step up. We still aren't maximizing our players. And we are still ignoring Len when he runs the floor. All of Plumlee's shots should be given to Len. Plumlee should get his points off put backs and rebounds, not any post up shots.

My issue would be if we moved Dragic and then STARTED Thomas alongside Bled, it just wouldn't work - which is what worries me.

I want Harris. As others have said he's very young, versatile scorer, good defender and can play the 3 or 4. He's also a decent rebounder when he's gotten consistent minutes.

Plumlee, Green, Isaiah and MoBros have to be on the trade block.
MoBros have value, but straight up for Tobias Harris for example can be good for both sides. 2 for 1 even on salaries. Harris can sign a $52M / 4 years next year with us and we can play Warren or Bullock some minutes at the SF spot after that.

I don't mind losing Dragic at this point. He does not appear interested in making other players - I'm really talking about Alex with that comment - better. I get frustrated with Bled and IT as well, but I just think Goran's highly overrated.

It sucks, but I'm already looking ahead to next year, when (hopefully) we see more out of TJ and Archie. I think Ennis is going to be great, but I know if it will be with us. McD sure is taking his time clearing the log jam. Curious what he's angling for..... the draft? S&T?

I agree, our lineup could look something like:

Bledsoe/Thomas
Green/Goodwin/Bullock
Tucker/Mook/Warren
Kieff/Wright
Len/Wright/Plumlee

If we lose the next 3 games, for instance, and we are sitting at 28-26, and 2 games out of 8th place, I wouldn't be surprised to see Horny/McD make a couple of moves, with the Dragi being moved. Also, maybe Green and Plumlee, and we role with:

Bledsoe/Thomas
??????/Goodwin/Bullock
Warren/Tucker/Mook
??????/Kieff/Wright
Len/Wright

I know, crazy scenario, but at that point they'd have to try to shake up the roster some, and bring in fresh blood at the SG and PF positions, while getting our young guys more burn. I'm not advocating that drastic of a shake-up at all, but we have to realize that we are not competitive at that point with our current roster.

If we win the next 3, or go 2-1, then they may just ride with what we have, maybe one small trade, and hope for the best.

What do you all think? Our last 3 losses--a reflection of what we are, or just a small speed bump? We ended up going 3-5 during that 8 game painful stretch--about what I figured we'd do, so I'm not overly worried, but I am curious to wonder how Horny and McD view our team and chances at the 8th seed. I think the next 2 weeks will be very telling.
