If by the coach you mean the whistle-blower, then he isn't racist. He's married to a black woman for goodness sake's.
Doesn't really excuse the potential imo, you can be homosexual, and still be a homophobe. There are plenty of situations where a white person has a black spouse, but generally doesn't like black people. They love that one person, doesn't necessarily mean they care for the entire race.

I really think that bringing up race into this situation is just another reason why real race related issues are ignored, it just helps undermine them.
This could have been done internally and the JRW team itself could have been notified first. Nah, the whistleblower went out his way to nationally embarrass little children just to get the last laugh. Now personally I don't think racism is the entire issue, just straight up being salty as hell for getting your ass kicked is majority of the problem. But it makes you question if this same effort would have been put for the team in Evanston instead of the far south side of Chicago.
As far as being ignored, most understanding minorities learned a long time ago that the people who like to ignore these situations will ignore them regardless if there is a real case or not, so credibility isn't exactly cared for. Most aren't saying what the team did wasn't cheating, but if you're gonna do the research, be fair and do it for all the teams, not just the all black team who managed to beat you and win it all.
