I'd rather just increase Henson's usage a bit and keep a better defender at C, especially considering the price difference for another year.

McLemore is a borderline untouchable asset for them right now. He just turned 22 and is putting up very solid efficiency numbers across the board. I doubt they have any inclination to trade him unless they get some ridiculous offer that they couldn't pass up.

As much as I think he'll bust, I'd still buy low on Stauskas. Ersan, JOB, and Clippers 2017 1st for Stauskas and Thompson is something I'd definitely at least consider. But then again, that Clippers pick might end up being the best asset in that deal...

I think hiring Karl removes untouchable from the equation. He never plays young guys or looks to develop them. You either perform when you hit the court or you don't, Karl doesn't "waste time" trying to get the most out of young players.

Well, McLemore is certainly performing well on the court right now. Thus I don't think it matters. If he were playing poorly and not getting consistent minutes (33 MPG this year) then I agree, Karl would be a wildcard.

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=l2w4tbj

MKE in - Stauskas
Mclemore
Collison
Thompson

SAC in - Knight
Arsen
2017 LAC first
a couple seconds

I think this a good outline for a deal with SAC. We give up the best player in the deal. All star snub!!! SAC gets to overpay said player. Karl doesn't like playing young players anyway.

We get two young players who could fit very well with Giannis and Parker. Both young players would be flippable as well if it doesn't work out after a year. Arsen and Thompson both suck. Collison can handle playing PG in this years playoffs. Plus Johnny Mac has always liked him.

Would say we are at 75-80% that Ersan gets dealt by Thursday. At least 5 teams have interest in him right now.

If they want to swap JT for Ersan, fine, but I'd rather have that 1st than Stauskas.

Guy is being overrated to insane levels by this board.

Not this year. Quite the opposite, in fact. Thats why some of us feel he may be available. No matter how you feel about Stauskas, you have to agree that particular 3 team trade with Phoenix and Sacramento is exactly the type of trade we need to be considering.

Other than Stauskas, are there any other rumblings of young prospects the Bucks are interested in?

Do u have an inside track on this or is this more matter of opinion? Not discrediting u, just looking for substantial info... Kings seem to be 1st team I've seen him linked to really... plus 75/80% is a lot imo and ur post made me happy lol. Just wanted to see if I'm setting myself up for failure or not thinking Ersan is a goner. I personally think he should've been traded last year for a ham sandwich.

And I will say that idk about most Bucks fans but it's really ashame we didn't pull the trigger on the Brooklyn deal. Id much much much rather be dealing with Brook Lopez and his injury concern right now over the uselessness that is Ersan Ilyasova and Larry Sanders. We'd be in such better shape with Lopez as an asset over what we kept.

Well if Ersan can net a positive asset in a trade I'll gladly eat some crow. I still don't see why any team would view him as a positive with that contract and his crappy play. Best case is someone gives the bucks an expiring but even that seems a little far fetched IMO. I hope I'm totally wrong.

Sure, we should be looking at deals like that. I just don't see why PHX does that particular deal.

And I guess I'm not seeing what everyone else is with Stauskas. Not a guy I'd ever consider giving up a 1st round pick for.

Are the Bucks shopping any other players? What position are they looking to upgrade?

Three teams I know for fact have called about Ersan, these teams are the Rockets, Kings, and Warriors. I heard there is two other teams, if I had to speculate, I would say they are Detroit and Washington.

Not sure if the Kings have interest anymore since Karl took over. I speculate the Pistons and Wizards based on team needs/coaching wants. SVG loves to have guys who can play the 4 spot and make 17+ft jumpers, and the Wizards could really use a floor spacing option off the bench at the 4 behind Nene.

Not sure what the Warriors were thinking, but likely on the lines of dumping Lee on us for Ersan as Ersan is a better fit for their style and they desperately need to cut some salary for next season with Green's impending Free Agency coming up.

Depends on what you mean by "shopping"

They have inquired about the value of every player on their roster by setting up demo trades with other teams, but every team does this with every single player.

I know we would love to trade Larry, but lets be real, that is not happening unless we give up a pick and eat salary along with it.

I feel the team values Knight, Middleton, Parker, and Giannis as the only players teams would have to overpay to garner their services, so honestly, everyone else is game. Again, this is my opinion, not fact. All I know for certain is that they would like to move Ersan and Larry.

Maybe some of the interest in Ersan is teams speculating his historic pattern repeats: slow first half, productive second half of the season?

hmmm if GS has interest in Ersan I wonder if we take back David Lee we could somehow get Harrison Barnes in the deal and add something if needed maybe throw in Dudley (even though many on the board would not want to trade him)
