So PHX wants to include Isiah Thomas in any trades? It's always nice when another team pulls a Hammond and wants to ship someone out immediately.

At least for now. They seem to be in denial about the reports that Dragic wants out.

If you look at last summer's photo of Hennson, Larry, and Giannis; Giannis is the one with the better frame for muscling up. Also, Giannis' older brother Thanasis, he's built very solid - not huge, but muscular; so maybe he's the prototype to compare against.

I don't know if that means he's best used as a C, but he should have the size for it.

Giannis will probably end up the biggest of the 3 but I'd hate to see him bulk up to play c. His agility and speed is a big part of what makes him special.

I do see some young KG, or I still like the Larry Nance comparison too. However, several years from now, we will probably look back on these comparisons and laugh a bit; as Giannis is unique and will carve his own niche.

Giannis is unique unto himself, the ability to play on the perimeter and initiate offense at his height still reminds me of KD... But he's already bulkier than KD will ever be.

I don't want to overuse hyperbole here but this is why Giannis has the ability to revolutionize the game. When is the last time we have seen a player realistically be able to play all 5 positions on the court?

It points to his unbelievable skill set. If he stayed the same weight he could play 1-3 spots. If he gains 20-25 lbs he could be a mismatch nightmare playing Center.

The only player I'd trade him for right now is Anthony Davis. It's amazing to think we have that highly valued a player here as a 20 year old.

Giannis single-handedly injected optimism to a Bucks RealGM board that was depressing to the point of Internet suicide before he came into the organization.
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.

suns are meeting with dragics agent today if he wants out hell be traded by tomorrow. Goran likes phoenix but does want to get paid and wants to play some minutes at the point.

The difference in the Thomas situation to what Hammond usually does is the suns will at least get a minor asset back for him not have to send one out for a team to take him.

Green can probably be had for a 2nd rounder.

This will sound crazy but I wouldn't trade Giannis for anyone. Not even Anthony Davis.

The reason is simple. Milwaukee is all Giannis knows. His family lives here and loves it. He is a 20 year old on his way to being a superstar and there is zero reason to believe he will ever want to leave. Could the same be said for Anthony Davis? We have hit the jackpot with this kid and I'm hanging onto him and riding it out. A truly untouchable player.

Thanasis Antetekounmpo - preview of how Giannis fills out in coming years? Not huge, but very solidly assembled.

That is kind of like saying you'd rather have Wade over LeBron though. If Giannis ever becomes the player that Davis is at age 21 I'd be surprised. Aside from AD though, I don't know who I'd really trade Giannis for.

I'm sure he wouldn't mind moving to New York to play with his brother.

I don't want to derail the thread but would you rather have a couple of years of AD or an entire career of Giannis? If I could have one player for their career I would take AD, but I would choose a career of Giannis over a few years of AD. I don't think that is crazy.

The Norris Cole talk, makes me think we are in the market for another guard...The Ersan to SAC talk could make some sense.

So what about;

SAC IN: Ersan
SAC OUT: D. Williams (maybe something else small)

PHX IN: D. Williams (maybe something else small), Clips 1st
PHX OUT: Plumlee, IT

MKE IN: Plumlee, IT
MKE OUT: Ersan, Clips 1st

SAC gets the stretch 4

PHX undoes the IT signing

MKE gets the PG and back up big we need for a run this year

I'm not a huge IT fan, and Plumlee is 26 and really want be anything all that useful but a big athletic body we kind of need right now on the roster.

I don't know, maybe something like that makes some sense, but the more I look at it, the more I don't like the IT / Knight / Bayless combo.

Yeah. What are the chances Thanasis is still in NY when Giannis becomes a FA?

As long as we're competitive still when Giannis becomes a FA, I don't see him going anywhere. He seems way too loyal. Who knows tho?

Speculate away :D

OK, I will speculate away :D

I can see the Kings being high on Henson. They need either a shot blocker next to Cousins or a distant shooter (an Ersan).

I'd be all over this...

Kings: Stauskas, Thompson, 1st Round Pick
Bucks: Henson, Mayo, 2nd Round Pick

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
