I think IT's suited to a punch off the bench - 6th man. Who starts at the 2 I wonder...Goodwin too soon probably so maybe we get one in the trade.

Allen Iverson was 5'11"

Denver Nuggets have everyone on their roster on the trade block. I'd like to see the Suns acquire Aaron Afflalo to be the new SG. He's gonna be an UFA after the year but we can see how he does for 2-3 months before deciding on whether to offer him an extension or not.

Afflalo is a true SG (6'4-6'5ish height) and could compliment Bledsoe well imo.

So does Dragic just want the money? I can't recall any player recently who would willingly want to go to the Lakers and play with Kobe. With the Knicks, I doubt Dragic will be able to utilize his skillset in the triangle offense. The system in Phoenix is where Dragic flourishes. If he wants to be traded, it's probably not just because of IT. Just saying...

The Rockets, always a factor at the deadline, are aggressively pursuing a deal with Phoenix for point guard Goran Dragic, league sources say. Such a deal would likely center around Rockets guard Patrick Beverley; otherwise, Dragic, a prospective free agent, would be stuck in the same three-guard rotation that he finds himself involved with in Phoenix. While rival executives remain convinced that the Suns prefer to move Isaiah Thomas out of their three-headed backcourt, they may not have a choice. A league source confirmed that Dragic's agent, Bill Duffy, informed the Suns Tuesday night that he would not re-sign with Phoenix this summer. And the Rockets are not on Dragic's short list of teams to which he prefers to be traded, the source said.

Probably right - time frees up for Goodwin anyway maybe.

Having said it's all on the Suns getting this wrong, I wonder if there could have been more diplomacy from Dragic's side if we did, indeed, say we'd offload Thomas. Maybe Dragic saw that Bledsoe had assumed control and thought it didn't matter what the Suns did with IT, he was beyond pi$$ed and didn't care what happened to the Suns. In which case there could be a bit of f*ck him but, it's still mainly on RMcD for getting it wholly wrong in the offseason in the first place.

Patrick Beverly? Wow... That's the dumbest thing the suns could do. The absolute opposite of what we need. I'd be officially done for the season.

^I wouldn't mind Beverley here at all.

He isn't a ball dominant PG and imagine the perimeter D of Bledsoe and Beverley?!?! Eek.

If we could nab Jones or D-Mo from them too I'd be 100% down with it.

This season Bev is 2.2 threes a night at 37%, and even though we'd have a short back-court both are up there in terms of physicality and strength for their size.

Dragic again would play second fiddle to a superior ball-handler in Harden...so couldn't see him re-sign there.

If all this stuff is true and he absolutely won't re-sign even if we move Thomas, then trade him to ANY team except the 3 he wants - why should we accommodate him after he sabotaged his own trade value by first pouting on the court and not adapting his game, then saying the only teams he'd sign with. Maybe he isn't the player we think he is/was.

I'm a little torn on this one. I CAN see his point of view about not being the 1st or even 2nd preferred ball-handler, but at least allow the Suns to correct their mistake by moving IT?

IT and Bled back-court would be destroyed on D.

Thomas would be posted up EVERY possession...

Just trade IT to the Celtics for Sullinger. He brings rebounding and future potential.

If we can get something really valuable for Dragic, then take it. But don't take scraps. Let him come back and make it awkward. Maybe without IT, Horny can convince him to stay. Otherwise, we are better off with cap space than with scraps anyway.

Give Green a chance to redeem himself. He is a good locker room guy that can help chemistry. He just needs to get out of the slump.

I'm glad Dragic gone. So bad FT clutch shooter ever. Not a guy who u trust in the last possession. More respect goes now to Tony Parker who care his team and not the money. Truly winner.

Maybe the real reason that Goran dislikes the Suns is because we don't play his brother

Trade Tucker/MoBros for David West/Indy's 1st
Trade IT for Deng
Trade Green for Dudley

I think Goran would stay after that. Get rid of all the knuckleheads on the roster.

His brother sucks.

McD was clearly pandering with that move, I'm sure even Goran knows that.

Either Z will be traded with Goran or they'll waive him immediately - unless someone offers a bottle of cactus juice or a cheap pair of sunnies.

Depending what we get for him, this will be the first black mark on McD's resume.

I'd see how much the Kings want him - Gay at $19m is BAD but at $12m for the next 4? that's GOOD money for a fringe All Star and a guy who's a more reliable scorer than Dragic. Try and shift Tucker to SG...

It may have something to do with it.

Zoron even said that he didn't want to come to the NBA just to sit on the bench. But that's exactly where he ended up.
