Trade Middleton for Kanter doe.

It's not happening.

Middleton is too valuable. Not many cold-blooded shooters in the NBA but we may have found one in Middleton.

Can't wait to see what Middleton can do when he's left wide open in a year or two when opposing teams have to put a help defender on Giannis/Jabari. He should get as many wide open 3's as he can handle.
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.

They're not. Jackson is a worse version of Knight and Lamb has been underwhelming his entire career.

They are. Jackson is a better version of Knight and even Lamb runs a better PnR than Knight. Knight has a great work ethic though.

I want to pose a question for those of you who hate Enes Kanter, Reggie Jackson, Jason Thomason, or any of the other players we've been linked to. I rarely watch the NBA outside of the Bucks. Just not enough hours in the day for me. I know some folks who watch NBA, and NBA only. They could care less about football, college sports, or baseball. I like it all so that leaves no time for NBA teams and games I don't care about. I've only seen guys like Kanter, Jackson, and Jason Thompson play a handful of times each year. So I don't feel qualified to give an informed opinion. So my question to those of you who feel strongly one way or another is:

How much Jazz, OKC, and Sacramento basketball do you actually watch? Not trying to call anyone out or be a di*k, just interested in the process of how these stronger opinions are formed.

Adding Henson to a Jackson deal would be foolish.

Monroe is UFA and wants to leave Detroit.
Detroit wants to keep him now they kicked Smoove out.
But damage might be done in their relationship.
I doubt Monroe approves a trade anywhere. By doing so he loses his bird rights which would limit his sign and trade options and eliminate the possibility of getting a 5 yr deal from Detroit (which might actually be a possibility with smith gone).

It's interesting me all the stat guys around here see stats that show Jackson being better than actually real life PG duties yet say Knight is better. Neither is optimal to play PG, but if I had to pick between the 2, I'll take Jackson as he has better PG skills, even if those PG skills are not elite.

Really though, I don't want either. I want pass first who's actually good at being past first. And a guy who can play a little d. That's what we need.

Jackson is not better than Knight unless running a PnR is literally the only thing you use to evaluate players. That and turnovers are probably the only two things he does better.

i thought at the end of the year he was an UFA so he could sign anywhere he wants for a max deal?

whats the point of being an UFA if youre not allowed to sign a 5yr/max?

Hoping Houston gets Dragic, maybe they'd be willing to trade Beverley then

@MattIsAGhost: Sources: Milwaukee #bucks are exploring sending Ilyasova and 1st rounder to #utahjazz for C Enes Kanter before #NBATradeDeadline

Whoa... A first?? :|

I watch every Jazz game.

Give us Middleton.

All I'll say about Jackson is this: the guy thinks he's a superstar and if he comes here, he will view it as a 30 game audition for the league to show them he's the next Harden and worth the max after being freed from the shackles of KD and Westbrook. He will be chucking up a damn storm, I can almost promise it.

Can't stand Reggie Jackson's fame, like Bayless and what he does for this team more. I am wondering how bad Bayless is hurt, perhaps that is why hey are looking at the pg position.

My guess is Phoenix would be getting Beverly back in a trade for Dragic.

I'd be OK with it if it was the Clips first, but not ours.

Ehhh, I don't hate it for the Jazz. I mean, I really don't want to re-sign him at all, so a decent 1st round (Bucks going to be like 16th-20th, right?) is nice.

I just hope the Jazz really **** y'all over and offer Middleton 48/4 over the off-season.

I actually like Kanter a little more than most, I think Ersan and the Clippers first is an absolute steal for Kanter....the Clippers first is meh.

Yeah, if it's the Clips 1st, I actually like that deal. If it's our 1st, I don't.
