I remember a time when this board was all about rebuilding by getting super high upside young guys who have star potential. Now they are all about guys like Khris Middleton and dislike most young players that haven't already turned into studs.
Not that I dislike Khris Middleton. I think he's going to be a great role player unless he stops playing hard after he gets his deal or something... but Exum has the ability to be something special.
And yeah, I realize that he isn't dominating the NBA as a 19 year old.

I would have said that about Middleton a month ago. Then I looked at his last ten games. Something like 16/5/3 with almost 3 steals per game on fabulous TS.
Small sample size and he's hot like Brandon Jennings would get. But right now he's looking every bit as good as Jimmy Butler, maybe better.

And so far, without the shot.

If we had Jimmy Butler I would probably trade him for Exum as well. Jimmy Butler would be on the wrong side of 30 by the time we would be contending for a title with guys like Giannis and Jabari.

Yes. Cap hold is only a little over $1M as well.
Just curious as to why the Bucks did not talk to him about an extension earlier.
Based on his contract status I don't believe they were allowed to. Could be wrong though.

Are you a Jazz fan now all of the sudden?

Thats the problem. Small sample size. We payed Larry based on less than a year of production. Can't base anything on 10 games. Before Parker got hurt Middleton hardly saw the court and when he did he looked bad as well.paulpressey25 wrote:Newz wrote:Not that I dislike Khris Middleton.
