Giving up a lottery pick for the right to give Brandon Knight the max in 30 games will be an unequivocally horrible-looking move in due time. We're just not at this stage yet because PHX fans are still in the rationalization stage.

Deserves what? When was the last time you bought a 76ers ticket?

Trying to drag crap from the Hornets board to the GB is ridiculous.

How hilarious that the Hornets board thinks that Minny and Milwaukee have the brightest future of the young teams in the NBA, how delusional...

For the record Charlotte is a young team who will most likely make the playoffs in consecutive seasons for the first time in franchise history, yeah our future sucks.

Charlotte has a young core of Kemba/MKG/Zeller/Vonleh/Hairston and Biyombo, we also have all our picks and cap space.

How about actually contributing to the thread instead of going for cheap and-1's?

What Charlotte fan has stated Charlotte in this thread?

Embiid for example, hopes one day he can be as good as Cousins, but no guarantee he'll get there. Kinda like how Blazers fans said they'd take Oden over Dwight because of potential, after that draft.

Because Cousins is really all they have. Stauskas looks bad so far, Mclemore is all right. They've had three coaches this season already. Tough to put much trust into their future when their front office has shown so much incompetence.

But yeah, Cousins is the best player on any of these teams. Having him is the only thing that even gets them in the conversation.

Even if Sac only has 1 player (what about Gay on a decent contract?), who is the 2nd player the 76ers have? They don't have a #1 guy that has proven anything, or a #2 guy that has proven anything, or a #3 guy that proven anything. Mclemore may not be great, but has someone like Wroten proven to be all that much better?

Problem with 76ers is, they don't even for sure have a good #1, #2, #3 option. And, even if they get lucky and 2 out of their top 3 guys pan out, then what do they have after that? Brandon Davies,? Hollis Sims? Even if they end up with 2 quality players they still have absolutely zero quality players to go around them. Good teams like Chicago, Toronto San Antonia, Atlanta, etc.. don't just have 2 guys, they have about 8 or 9 guys that can play, with a couple being really good. 76ers are a million miles away imho.

I don't care about Charlotte one way or another but you might make the playoffs in the weakest the conference has been in a long time in consecutive years and probably still won't have ever won a playoff game. How does that say your future is bright?

Out of your young core there isn't very many attractive pieces. I'd love MKG and Biyombo because of their defensive specialties. No one on there really is screaming All Star though, unless All Star injuries become more and more frequent.

I didn't say anyone has to care about Charlotte and nor did I claim that Charlotte has the brightest future...

Minnesota and Milwaukee at present have the brightest future of the teams listed and that was my answer.

The irony is that CLT does actually have a bright future compared to the rebuilding teams such as Orlando who you support.

Don't get salty because no one has said Orlando in this thread, I find it amusing that you will rag on the (pathetic) EC (which it is) when Orlando does not have any all-star caliber pieces (also) and are bottom feeders among all of the bottom feeding teams of the EC.

MKG is a better prospect than any player on the whole of Orlando's roster, not one player on Orlando has ever proven anything towards winning basketball games and they look like they'll be scraping the barrel for the next ten years until they win the lotto (again) and wait for their 'star' to leave at first opportunity (again)

Good thing Henny gave 32m to Frye while we have scrubs like Jefferson, if only Charlotte had an all-nba player or something...

I'm willing to bet that Charlotte will win a playoff game before Orlando does.

lol I didn't think Orlando had anything to do with my post.

You should totally rag on the Magic though. Charlotte as a franchise has much more to be proud of.

I apologize, you're right.

>Scraping into the Eastern Conference playoffs last year and hopefully this year is a great accomplishment.

>Future with a young core of "Kemba/MKG/Zeller/Vonleh/Hairston and Biyombo" will definitely be a bright one. These other rebuilding teams must be green with envy.

I said Jazz barely over Timberwolves and 76ers.

Now first, those other two teams have the prospects with the most potential, and thus could very easily end up with the best future, but when I do future rankings, I try to think about floor as well as ceiling.

I think the Jazz have done a fantastic job putting together a solid core of Hayward-Favors-Gobert which seems like it has to be pretty good, won't die if just one player has a career ending injury, and seems likely to have a particularly good relationship with their players based on how they've done things with them, and the knowledge of how they treated players in the past.

Rudy Gay would far and away be the best player on the Celtics. Dismissing him because of reputation or age?
