Not really any more than any other game. If you play well enough, bad calls aren't going to beat you. We played well but didn't do a few little things in the end that should be givens, and got beat. A little bit of a reminder for the guys about Game 6 2 years ago I bet. Glad it happened now than later in the playoffs.
I remember watching with about 1:15 left and we were up by 7 I think, and the announcers were talking as if the game was over. I thought that was strange because I had a gut feeling what was about to happen (because I still am scarred from Game 6). I've seen way too many games in my lifetime that can turn in less than a minute with more than a 7 point difference.

The only way you foul in that situation is if Kyrie had his back on the rim so that there was no chance he gets a shot up.. He was facing the rim the whole time he got the ball and it was like one dribble and a shot. It's more likely that you give up a foul on a 3 point shot in that situation. No way Pop supposed to foul there.
If there was anyone guilty on that play, it'd be Kawhi again. Parker got picked in a screen that allowed Kyrie to get the ball. Kawhi got out to Kyrie but should of ran him off the 3 point line and make Kyrie shoot a 2 pointer. Instead, Kawhi hesitated for a second and didn't even get to the 3 point line as Kyrie rose up for the shot. We simply shouldn't have give up a 3 point shot in that situation. Anything inside the 3 was fine.
LesGrossman wrote:I believe there was an opportunity to foul; you play the whole inbound play differently if you want to foul. Pop is the best in the business without doubt but if he has one weakness it is that he struggles to change his ways easily. He traditionally does not foul in that situation even though it cost the spurs several games by now.
