Hey the Hawks were a treadmill team for many years until they got a good coach and now are a contender.

Who would buy "used cards"? Man you'd have to bea good salesman to do that.

Markieff starts off crazy hot in the first quarter and totally disappears the rest of the game. That is just the kind of player he is. You never know what he is going to do. Some games he plays like an all star. Others he seems like a cheap bench player. A lot of people always bring up the topic of the Morris brothers contracts being great value. Well honestly I do not care. I only want to win a championship. I am not interested in the Suns winning an award for having no big contracts on the roster. Does anyone on here believe the Morris brothers are players who will lead you to a championship? I do not. They have attitude problems, are wildly inconsistent, and have low basketball iq's.
As far as Hornacek goes, look at what this guy does tonight. He gives Warren 30 minutes and Warren gets 18 points and 5 rebounds. Played a great game. Okay so that sounds good right. WELL WHY THE HELL DID WARREN GET ZERO MINUTES AGAINST THE BLAZERS!!! Yes I am screaming that. I said it last game. Don't you guys think the Suns could have used his cutting and hustle and knack for being in the right place at the right time the other night. Of course they could have. See what happens when you give a young guy with talent a lot of playing time. Good things can happen. Where is your brain Hornacek?
On the other hand, look at Goodwin. He plays 3 minutes tonight. And they came at an inexcusable time too. Hornacek put him in ice cold with no rhythm to start the 4th quarter like he expects Goodwin to save the team or something. Maybe Hornacek should have played Goowdin 5-6 minutes in the first half to let him get adjusted instead of rotting on the bench. Goodwin also only played because Knight got injured. He would have most likely had zero minutes if Knight could have played more. Anyway, after Goodwin came in, Hornacek pulled him out of the game at the first timeout after 3 minutes. It is impossible to judge a player on 3 minutes. Did he look good? No. Did he look bad? No. He played 3 minutes. He did not look anything. Funny thing is that in those 3 minutes he still managed to get some statistics as he had 2 points and 2 rebounds. Plus the team looked way worse after Goodwin came out of the game and Bledsoe came back in.
Idk anymore when it comes to this coach. I feel like everything he does goes against common sense. Alex Len had 11 rebounds and 2 blocks in 25 minutes and he did not play in the fourth quarter. The Suns could have used his rebounding and defense. I guess Markieff Morris' interior defense was good enough huh coach. Markieff did nothing in the second half. Len should have been out there when it mattered against Adams in the paint. Benching your franchise center who is the clearly the best defender on the team is asinine.
If Hornacek does not commit to playing Goodwin AND Warren both at least 20-25 minutes per game the rest of the season then he is completely lost. The season is done. Even if the Suns go undefeated the rest of the way (yeah right) I doubt the Thunder lose enough for the Suns to even have a chance. I love how Warren and Goodwin play. Those guys have major potential. Len, Warren, and Goodwin can truly be the foundation of this team moving forward. I do not see a Bledsoe/Knight combination being anything to write home about. It just looks like Bledsoe/Dragic 2.0. Knight looked better when Bledsoe was on the bench and vice versa. I hope McDonough sees what is obvious. The team needs to go younger and build around the future. No more treadmill players. Because that is all what this team currently is. A treadmill team desperate for an overhaul and it starts with the coach.
