It doesn't seem like a big issue since the Nets won but if the Nets lost this game, this would be a huge story. Hopefully that doesn't happen again in the future. I know Jack, Johnson and Anderson were taking a bulk of the shots in the 4th, but as well as the Nets played as a team, I still saw some hero ball out there in the fourth.
it wouldnt have been a big story if we lost. the pacers made an adjustment, they went under every screen on the pick and roll and never left lopez and dared our gaurds to shoot it or go to the rim off of it. and we had decent success taking what they gave us.
no need to force feed lopez touches in the post. thats really not where he is at his best, especially when they had hibbert in. Lopez only bad shots tonite were fades off of post touches. he is at his best in the pick and roll and flshing in the paint off cross screens.
and it worked, they were forced to take that away and when they did our gaurds had some great looks and hibbert was often not in position to alter the shot. joe had 16 in the second half and really they had no one to stop him with the pacer big not helping off brook.
you dont force feed your best player the ball when the other team is determined to keep/get it out of his hands. you play team ball and take advantage of it, which is what we did
