So tired of hearing about how great the Spurs and all that. Can never ever root for them to win even though I have ton of respect for Pop.
Agreed on not counting them out after one loss, they lost game 1 to Mavs last season in opening round and then they won the championship. One loss means nothing to SAS, their not gonna fold.
I don't think they will fold either, but I was a little surprised so few people were picking the Clippers. They have been awesome this year and have home court. I think they get through.
Nothing would surprise me, and the Spurs will probably come out swinging and I think have a good chance at winning game two.
Yea I think people are overlooking the Clippers a bit. I think CP3 is tired of not making it past 2nd round of playoffs, he knows his career's not gonna prolong a lot longer.
Would prefer to see LAC have some success to stick it to LAL fans.
Oh yeah, I never pull for the Clippers ever but am in this series. Chris Paul appears to be on a mission. Lets face it, he is better than anyone on the Spurs right now, and unless he wets the bed like he did at the end of that OKC game last year (which I was happy about), I think they move on. I think that happening to Paul last year is going to make him more focused and driven. Kawhi is obviously awesome, but Barnes is the perfect type of guy to get under his skin, and Leonard, as good as he is defensively, isn't a great matchup to guard Griffin or Paul too much and take them out of the game. I think this was the worst matchup for the Spurs...they might be better off playing GS (ok, maybe not, but it's close).
