Semi-sarcasm. They're definitely standing on their last legs tho. Marc Gasol would be the perfect torchbearer for Duncan but I doubt he leaves Memphis

That's true if you are just referring to TD/Manu/TP. They are a great team because they have guys like Leonard, Splitter, Green, Diaw, Belli, Patty Mills playing behind TD who is despite his advanced basketball age, still posted a 22.6PER. That tells me the Spurs are a team run by a coach who maybe knows a thing or two about getting the best out of his squad.

I'll never count them out as long as the Big Fundamental is healthy and Pop's is running the show.

I really hope we Clippers can knock out the Spurs.

So tired of hearing about how great the Spurs and all that. Can never ever root for them to win even though I have ton of respect for Pop.

Agreed on not counting them out after one loss, they lost game 1 to Mavs last season in opening round and then they won the championship. One loss means nothing to SAS, their not gonna fold.

I actually want the Spurs to win so Jordan will look elsewhere to sign. And maybe clippers trade Blake to us. Same reason why I want Portland to lose. The quickest, the better.

I just don't see the Clippers blowing it up, even with a first round exit. Jordan leaving is a possibility if they decide not to pay up, but I think they would go all out for an upgrade at SF

I don't think they will fold either, but I was a little surprised so few people were picking the Clippers. They have been awesome this year and have home court. I think they get through.

Nothing would surprise me, and the Spurs will probably come out swinging and I think have a good chance at winning game two.

Yea I think people are overlooking the Clippers a bit. I think CP3 is tired of not making it past 2nd round of playoffs, he knows his career's not gonna prolong a lot longer.

Would prefer to see LAC have some success to stick it to LAL fans.

Oh yeah, I never pull for the Clippers ever but am in this series. Chris Paul appears to be on a mission. Lets face it, he is better than anyone on the Spurs right now, and unless he wets the bed like he did at the end of that OKC game last year (which I was happy about), I think they move on. I think that happening to Paul last year is going to make him more focused and driven. Kawhi is obviously awesome, but Barnes is the perfect type of guy to get under his skin, and Leonard, as good as he is defensively, isn't a great matchup to guard Griffin or Paul too much and take them out of the game. I think this was the worst matchup for the Spurs...they might be better off playing GS (ok, maybe not, but it's close).

Isaiah Thomas on 6th man vote: "Congrats to Lou Will… All I’m going to say is numbers don’t lie. Congrats to him, he deserves it."

Well Thomas' numbers are definitely better across the board. Points, assists, rebounds, fg%, 3pts%. But the Raptors won 9 more games than the Celtics. Just like there really is no way you cannot give Steph Curry the MVP. His team won 11 more games than the Rockets. So win total is the deal breaker when it comes to these awards.

No matter if IT deserved it or not (which he should have got it), his comments are the reason why he got traded.

Why? OKC, if healthy, is bound to be a juggernaut for years, so it doesn't really matter. They have the best young tandem of stars in the league. What is funny is when I see articles about "Did they miss their window?" Durant and Westbrook are 26. 12 years younger than Duncan.

I think the Pels have a fighting chance in this series. They'll definitely make things interesting at the very least

Suns fans are ridiculous!

Why are u still hating on Isaiah Thomas?

He is better than any suns player right now! Celtics have been really good with him and he deserved the 6th man of the year.

Without being traded I think he would of got 6th man of the year!

What more do u want from a bench player? U need someone who can score and that's what he did! Y'all expected him to get 20 PTs and 10 assists a game!

Be realistic!

We possibly could be in the playoffs with him.

I didn't mind IT. I actually thought he was perfect for the sixth man role. Unfortunately, IT didn't want that role, and wanted to start, so I think we traded him for that reason.

I like IT and glad he's doing well yet it means nothing to me in terms of wanting him back. Same thing happened on this board when Diaw started playing well in San Antonio. ZOMG we should've never traded him!
