His defense, rebounding and court awareness was off-the-charts good tonight.
Kills me that it took until the playoffs for him to get a chance to play, but I'm also happy to see that Wittman trusts him now that it really matters.
If he can maintain that energy, don't even care about his scoring, it should be a real confidence boost heading into next season.
I wish he would have started more games but they did get him through the season healthy and he is in the playoffs. Lets not overlook that. Could we have had more minutes of Otto and get him through. maybe..maybe not. Maybe the played it overly safe. Maybe they played is pretty damn close to how they should have. We don't know. What we do know is, he is in the playoffs and healthy. Thats a good thing. What he does here can end up mattering much more then the regular season.
One things is for sure...
OttoMagic... Not a bust.
Does everyone remember that slick ass move his made going under the rim for the reverse. Dude makes some shots like that and they are sick. All Go Go Gadget arms. And the defense. Oh my. Trevor A would be proud.
Dude is showing signs of having... "It"
I also saw he had a moment on the court where his inner Warrior came out and Truth was right there to stoke that fire. Truth is poking at these young mans minds.
So much good stuff happened for our young core in Game 2. So much stuff. Pure awesome when things work out well.
Onto Game 3. Foot on neck going for the sweep. And all this is a great warm up for ATL. We will have a lot more learning to do if we are to stand a legit chance against ATL. You can't play 4th quarters like that and beat ATL. Back to work.
