Anybody have some tips? I only workout at home now (bench, curls, calf raises, perfect pushup system, etc), but am considering joining anytime fitness as it would only be $8 through my work company.
I, like many others here it seems, love drinking so besides cutting that out what can I do?
Top 4 ways to not get a six pack:
1) "ab workout/at home" equipment
2) a **** ton of crunches
3) starving yourself (abs are muscle, you have to feed your muscles for them to grow)
4) fat loss pills, shakes, etc
there are essentially 4 basic movement patterns of your abs: truck flexion (upper abs), hip flexion (lower abs), rotation (oblique's), and laxteral flexion (oblique's).
you have to hit all 4 movements to grow your abs.
also.. eat right. low(er) carbs, high protein, less sugar, GOOD fats.
