Unspecified Plumlee trade. Knew their pick made no sense.

Brooklyn will send Mason Plumlee and Pat Connaughton to the Blazers for Hollis-Jefferson and Blake, league sources tell Yahoo.

I know.

I started an account here in 2007 because 90% of the board was against the KG trade.

There's a thread right now where 90% of the board was against the Nets trade, that I was fully in support of.

Spent two years respecting people who wanted tank talk sequestered into its own thread only to have them come into that thread to post pictures of people with down syndrome and lecture me and others about not understanding basketball and being an inferior fan or whatever the ****.

Many were incredibly obnoxious about it, and humble was beyond an ****.

Given what an utter bloodbath tonight is, there's not enough sand in the world for me to kick in their faces right now, and I am going over the top to make it 100% clear that they don't ever need to do that again.

They aren't the better fans. They aren't the smarter fans.

We are.

Right on man. You are the best poster on this board. Period. We need more posters like you not less. You were 100 percent right and now it's time for people to eat it. Tough ****.

Funny part is, as much as I agree with you on a lot of things, I'm really not even that negative. Gave 100% support of everything Ainge did right up until the trade deadline.

But we **** up. And you are right, we have a team full of "ham and eggers". I still think Ainge is doing a good job, and glad he didn't panic tonight, but we are definitely on the verge of becoming a role player factory right now.

Unless two stars collude to take our cap room next week, we set ourselves back big-time the last few months IMO. And seriously, why would two stars collude to do that given their other options?

Tonight was quite possibly a very important crossroads for the direction of this team.

No clue if we're keeping this next pick but if we do, might as well take a flyer on Dakari and get some size.

Farts, RHJ/Connaughton to the Nets.

Oh well, at least connaughton is the only guy there that can shoot.

Edit - never mind, Pat to Portland.

We've been burned leaving 7 footers on the board before... Just grab one of them and see if there's anything there

This much I agree with wholeheartedly though. I just want to say again that I was consistently stunned this season with what certain posters were allowed to get away with in the tanking thread, when similar content from tankers in, for example, a game thread, would not have been tolerated.

And I agree with Mencius that Cave's been on the highroad more often than not, and is only just finally blowing up tonight. And I do understand why; reading his posts does stir up just the tiniest thrill of schadenfreude in me.

But, ultimately, the war that you're waging, Cave, is not about basketball any more. It's personal. And that's why it's time to let it end, or take it elsewhere.

I've been reading this site for over 10 years. This argument has done some ugly things to this site. People are losing sight of what is important, the Celtics. I understand the reason, but the debate should be over. Over as soon as Ainge traded for IT2, it was clear it was over. You don't see the value of the shift fine, but to actively root against the team you pledge allegiance to? It's a bad look.

The debate IS over.

It just needed to be made clear in brutal fashion.

And it was. Has nothing to do with rooting against my team. Just pimpkicking some of the low IQ people who spent a year talking down to me.

FWIW, Ainge would take the IT trade back in a minute, bet on that.

Ugh, you are sounding just as arrogant as humble on this. Have some water and take this down a notch or two.

Don't worry, it's over now.

And people wonder why the Celtics didn't tank?

Well, that's why....we outsourced our tank to Brooklyn.
