Could get one as a FA...

He might only be counting starting bigs? because Drew made 23 last year and I know he's not counting PP.

If Drew and Pierce don't count, then how on Earth did we even make 11? Nene had 1, IIRC. Hump had no more than 1.

Don't you remember KLife draining 3 balls.. ? And Gorty ?

Oof. I had heard about the hip, but back issues as well?

Leonard and Noel were also red flagged, and the Sixers and Spurs are laughing their arses off, still.

I think he makes the team. He has real game.

I think it's a question of strategy and cap management, not whether he can eke out a roster spot at the end of the bench.

It's fun to see new players play, but I don't mind stashing him. I'd like to see him get a little stronger -- closer to 235-240, rather than the 220-225 he currently is now. We make sure he only signs a one-year deal, then we figure out what to do with him after the the big dominoes in the 2016 FA situation have fallen.

That's about the whitest guy I've ever seen in the NBA.

His clapping seems off time even in a still photograph, but he looks pre-equipped with lovable qualities.

I really don't know anything about these two picks, so I'm calling this draft a success and calling it a night.

I would have still preferred upside...and s4 who doesn't appear stiffer then matt bonner. His stats appear to checkout, but I think Woods, Jiteh and Alexander all seemed to be better picks. At least guys who could be 2 way players.

Jalen was talking out his ass.
NENE made 1
Gortat made 0
Gooden made 23
Kevin made 0
Hump made 0
Blair made 0
So if you don't count PP who made 118 or otto who made 35, Then our bigs made 24 3 PT shots last year.

The kid plays good D and I don't think its fair to compare him to matt bonner just becuase he's white dude. They kids pretty athletic. Hrs a really solid grab at 49.

Don't read this wrong because I'm not bothered, but just made me wonder if people would react if someone posted something similar about a jet black dude named DeAaron Black.

ok, so long as he actually makes the team i think I can accept drafting him. If you are going to draft a senior, you ought to expect he can contribute in year 1....if it was an underclassman and they wanted to do draft and stash that would make sense. The guy isn't an elite shooter from 3 but does other cute stuff well. Doesn't look he is an amazing rebounder though.

Problem is that he may CHOOSE to play in europe over here. I imagine he may do that for a year and wait for the '16 cap to kick in before signing a deal. So essentially, we could have drafted two players who don't impact the team much at all this season.

Upshaw to the Lakers.

I'd bring in Woods but I imagine he may not waste his time if White decides he wants to stay. I'd try for Alexander and Jiteh and w/e PG worth a damn that is left.

On the bright side, there is no way more than two rookies make it on our roster. If he does go to Europe i could see Holmes/Jaiteh/Kaba/Alexander/Wood being brought in. Frazier is another option at the 2

Those guys aren't going to wait on White to make his decision. We'll be left with the garbage when it comes to the bigs.
