Got to give Mike a pass on this one, he will have kp and grant on the show later.

I think I am okay with Porzingy as the pick. I would've been more satisfied if we picked Mudiay all day. I like the trade a lot to get Jerian Grant, I think his skill set is an upgrade to Timmy's. I'm not sure I approve of giving up 2 future 2nd rounders for Guillermo. Hence the B grade.

GTFO Raps fan.

What I said was ignorant but it was an in the moment reaction.

I apologize and after calming down a bit I'm pretty excited for the Knicks' summer league.

And flipping Hardaway Jr. for a mid 1st rounder was genius.

Danny Ainge is that jilted ex who turns into a complete assh*le after the breakup

"I'm the best thing that ever happened to you! You're going to regret this! You'll never find anyone who treats you better, you stupid b*tch...but I'm happy now! I'm doing me and loving myself! THANK YOU FOR BREAKING UP WITH ME, ITS THE BEST GIFT YOU EVER GAVE ME!"

http://www.masslive.com/celtics/index.ssf/2015/06/boston_celtics_draft_rumors_da.html

"Our probably biggest plan was to try to use a lot of our assets, a lot of our picks, to try to consolidate picks and to move up in the draft. We spent a few weeks trying to prepare for that and do that, knowing that nothing really gets done until draft day, when people are making their final offers, their best offers and so forth. We were very close to consolidating picks and moving up in the draft on a couple of different occasions, and it just didn't happen.

""(The future picks) are worth a lot, (but) I think the draft is probably the time where they're least valuable, simply because people get so caught up in players," Ainge said on the radio. "Without mentioning names, there are some players that were drafted at certain spots (by teams) that turned down lots of draft picks that I just don't think was smart on their part."

"And I think people make irrational choices in those situations, not knowing that a 2019 unprotected first-round pick has great value. I think they will realize that. But again, the draft picks that we have, and the young players that we have, have terrific value around the league. Just not on draft day."

Even if Boston did include one or both of those, nobody bit. Ainge said the Celtics "tried to reach into the top 3," but knew going into the draft that would not be an option.

"We were having discussions with every team from 4 to 10," he said. "Actually, from 4 to 15, throughout the draft and throughout the weeks prior."

So every single team passed on his amazingly awesome offers. Every single one.

I'm reminded of the famous proverb:

"If you run into an assh*le in the morning, you ran into an assh*le. If you run into assh*les all day, you're the assh*le."

Francesa needs to be educated on a few things. He's gushing over the 2016 free agent class, but in the same breath is saying Davis Lebron and Durant aren't coming.

It's always hilarious when someone argues that someone should have taken their offer and they're stupid not to.

Well if your offer is so good and your assets are such a mistake to pass up, then why in the hell aren't you keeping them?!? It's like calling yourself stupid because you're trying to let go these very same assets you say it would be stupid to pass up!

They show a couple fans upset at the pick and now the media trolls us. I guarantee there are plenty of wolves fans who wanted Okafor/Russell and are upset also, but they aren't real fans and didn't show up to the draft.

Danny Ainge reminds of this guy Adam in my fantasy leagues. He would throw around ridiculous low balling offers hoping someone would be a sucker and take his crap and give him a good player in return. Then when those offers were rejected, and teams he made offers to made deals with each other, he would take to the message board and rip everyone and question the intelligence and integrity of the managers in the league.

I just feel like the Grant move was a clean up move because Phil realized he messed up by not picking up a guard/PG..

I would have handled the pick and assets differently..

my trust is phil jackson after this draft is very minimal after these moves..
