Nothing has been formally announced one way or the other. Nothing from Basketball Canada. No camp invites, no guidance on PanAm rosters or FIBA Americas rosters. Nothing formally from the players.
Only things we know for sure so far:
1) Tyler Ennis is out for the entire summer recovering from shoulder surgery.
2) Trey Lyles' camp said he would not participate with any national team duties in order to focused on rookie NBA season (no surprise).
Anything else solid guys? Too me the rest is rumor and speculation.
However, we expect pretty good participation in the FIBA Americas (the only event that matters).
Yes, nothing official.
Here is a summary of the rumor and speculation.
PanAmsOlynyk, Nicholson and Bennett have confirmed that they are available to play at PanAms - Toronto Star
Bennett will not be playing Summer League because he will be playing for Canada this summer - Flip Saunders
(not clear whether Saunders meant PanAms, FIBAs, or both, but given that only PanAms conflict with Summer League, could infer that he meant at least PanAms)
Good chance Jamal Murray is on PanAms - Michael Grange
The plan is for Murray to be in senior team camp and to play at PanAms - Ryan Wolstat
Phil and Thomas Scrubb will play for Canada at PanAms - Niagara College Assistant Coach
(but since that tweet, Phil Scrubb being on Raptors' Summer League roster announced)
FIBA AmericasWiggins will play. - Krawcyznski (AP)
Wiggins would like to play. - Nash
Wiggins, Stauskas, Powell, Bennett and Olynyk are confirmed - Wolstat
Thompson won't play - Chris Haynes (Cleveland Plain Dealer)
Canada hasn't yet reached out to Thompson - Grange
Lyles and Ennis won't play (PanAms or FIBA) - see Mojo's post above
