I get that. I really do. But a combo of David West, Kostas Koufos and Bobby Portis could cover that some production for less than $20 million. Leaving us a few million to further improve the rotation.
The opportunity costs of paying a limited player like Millsap $20 million is simply too high.
We seemed focused on retaining PM at
any costs.

It is likely PM sticks with us, but that no state tax thing in FL makes their deal still slightly more lucrative. And they have a nice young squad and a veteran coach as well down there.
But, I agree he almost certainly comes back. Much to my chagrin.
