Why say so? Or on the other way round, we are trolled by other teams. This is what I have been seeing.

I don't know why they couldn't say "Embiid's okay but as a precaution we are giving him another two months to recuperate and then putting him on a strict minutes schedule". No need to wait until summer league ends for an announcement like that.

I hate to say but it seems that this pick could be.... a waste at this point? I hope I am wrong.
Did you just crawl out from under a rock? He was at minicamp and looked healthy. Ericb5 wrote:Once they didn't say anything before summer league started I figured that they wouldn't announce anything during the games.
I don't know. The longer it goes the more I feel like it is going to be surgery, but that is purely a feeling of dread based on nothing.

the plan is to get as good as quickly as possible....I fully believe we could have been a borderline playoff team last year by adding young veterans....using or draft picks and cap space.....can I specifically tell you who? no.

i feel like if they were going to do surgery, they would try and get it done as soon as possible so they can start the rehab process as soon as possible. The fact that it is taking so long to me feels like maybe they are just trying to make sure they have all of their ducks in a row to ensure that they really can just give him the full go ahead to be ready to play.
I was hoping somebody would clear up something for me though. What is the purpose of the in person visits to these doctors? Are the ct-scans not enough for them to look at and diagnose? What would a doctor need to see him in person for?
