It'll be interesting to see him play. Will he be in the Jazz rotation though?

Good for us. I think we'd end up with Kanter either way but I don't want his price driven up.

He has a shot. Do that have another backup center? Or just Booker?

They have a lot of bigs but I think he'll get minutes behind Gobert.

Honestly If I am the Thunder I'd pass, Adams and McGary make much more sense with what you have in place, it will be different if Durant was gonna be out, then sure, match, because Kanter can be the sidekick for Russ, but with Durant in, you need more of what Adams and McGary give you than Kanter.
And I guess you are still trying to count Durant in 100%, for now.
You could match and trade out of Novak, PJIII and maybe DJ I guess, but I wont bother for Enes, supertalented but his defensive shortcomings, plus how little he pass the ball are not worth it.

Meh, at least something is happening. Plus this means lower raises for him so it may be what they wanted.

We'll see what happens. I had read that Presti would match any offer for him.

According to Vincent Goodwill on Twitter, OKC is offering Enes Kanter a deal starting at $15.5 Million per year. The Thunder will also match any offer made by another team. Given that the maximum another team could offer is starting at ~$16 Million per year, it seems very reasonable that OKC would be willing to go up in price a bit.

The Blazers will probably offer the Max they are just doing it to mess w/ us. Don't mess w/ Sammy.

If Portland really wanted him they would have tried a sign and trade.

I don't want Enes Kanter making the MAX. Portland is messing with Presti.

Enes would make more if Presti offers him a deal and gets a 7.5 percent raise. PDX can only offer 4.5 percent. Saving him from himself.

News to me. Thanks.

I was afraid that -- "We'll match any offer" -- may be inviting teams to jack up his price tag for us.

We all knew this would happen and those of us with realistic expectations already figured he would sign a max or near max contract.
Sometimes i think some of you guys only want to see what you want. You focus too much on his defense and attempting to devalue him for us, that you fail to realize franchises drool for a guy who will put up 20-10 w/high percentages and in the post, in under 30min.
