youre being stupid the kid lives in center city and i see him once a week and hes very rarely if ever in LA. Youre delusional and frustrated hes injured and want someone to blame like a 5 year old.

I hope so, although it wouldn't be the worst news in the world... he can't play currently because of his foot... & I mean, even if he did have a house in L.A. it isn't anything illegal, you can live/visit & own property wherever you choose... especially if you're a millionaire it's all the more feasible to do.

Where are people getting this ish from then if it's not true? Were there rumors regarding this ?

Sorry sir but he may have his little Apartment in Center city, t he also bought a house in Manhattan Beach. And has been out there during last season a lot. Going to Movie premieres and what not. Hang'in with Celebs, ect. Now maybe you don't mind that, but when you are supposed to be doing everything you to Rehab..I do have a problem with it. I mean that was probably one of the main issues that Pompey reported on between Embiid, and his clashing with 76er trainers and not showing up for his workouts...cause he was eitin L.A., or too tired from traveling back and forth. I will wait....I will HOPE for the best. But regardless.something about this guy's attitude just worries me.

Im still waiting for you to actually prove any of this, because I think youre full of crap. I do know that last year there was a rumor that he was 300 lbs and I saw him the same day and he looked ripped. But since then the sixers have done nothing but praise his work ethic. There is however, proof that youre a vagina.

EDIT: so Ive googled just about every possibility of Embiid living or owning a house in LA, he doesnt, and the article about his questionable work ethic was followed by an article months later about how Brown loved his work ethic and his huge improvement in attitude.

I would bet that more than half the league has a house or condo or something in LA. The Sixers had a mini-training camp there one summer. Even if its true, who cares. I would hope he spent a lot of time in LA, that's where his doctor is.

That post is so devoid of proper perspective I don't even where to begin. It's always nice when new posters make it clear early that I shouldn't read their posts other that to make sure they aren't personally attacking anyone.

All the BS about hoes and partying is totally irrelevant. He is a 21 year old single millionaire. He can do whatever he wants to do. I have NO DOUBTS at all about his character or brains. I trust his judgement to the extent that anyone in that situation should be trusted. If he messes up he will learn. One look at his parents shows you all that you need to know in terms of how he was raised.

Also, Hinkie was the one that said that the rate of healing had slowed at the scan where they discovered the issue. That is not a rumor.

I don't know anymore than anyone else, but I wonder if at this point they have differing opinions on his prognosis, and they want to cover all of their bases before they allow him to play again. If all the doctors, or really even any of them, strongly recommended surgery I would think that they would do it. I wonder if some of them are saying to let him play and some are saying that it is a close call, and they just want to be smart about it.

Who knows?

I know that I trust the Sixers to do what is right. I am not used to feeling that way about a Philadelphia organization, but I honestly trust them to make the right call.

even still, the most controversial thing ive seen from Embiid is he smoked hookah with pornstar Jesse Jane once... never got in trouble and has worked incredibly hard on getting in shape after he was publicly criticized and hes been extremely supportive of all the rookies. Also, for what its worth, I literally see Embiid ALL THE TIME so there is no way he spends a significant amount of time in LA even if he did have a house there (which im pretty sure he doesnt).

Actually he was on air on 710 AM with Mason & Ireland. And he said that he bought a Beach home down in Manhattan Beach. I also think that all his L.A. Texting, and how he wants to hook-up with celebs clearly has shown he has a flare for that So-Cal life. Remember, he could have had any number of East coast Surgeons do his operation, even better ones then the Doctor he chose. But he chose that Doctor because he was in L.A., not because he was ever regarded as one of the better Doctors who specialized in that type of operation. You think I am wrong ?...try googling that Doctor, and see his credentials. Yes he IS a very good Surgeon. But he is nowhere near the best. But, he was in L.A. I find that kinda funny. And even before he ever was Injured, his workouts, his one and only showcase event for the draft...in L.A.
