He shouldn't be on a Plane period. His Butt should be back in Philly, seeing a trainer everyday to work on the parts of his body that are not related to his Foot, or on his game that doesn't require risk, ect. Look, I for one am a 76er fan who already believes that this kids work ethic is very very questionable. And that he clearly loves the " L.A. " Lifestyle. I mean in case you didn't know...Embiid has bought a hoe I L.A. already, and has spent like way more time in L.A. then he ever has in Philly. That rightconcee. But what is worse is that it has been over 13 months since his surgery to correct a problem that no other Athlete has had this surgery hasn't comeback 100 % healthy in 6 to 7 months tops. This was a statement by Doctor James Andrews, who has more experience with this type of foot issue then any other Doctor ever. So now we are approaching TWICE that time frame...and this guy still cannot play ? Sorry but that is an Issue.

Buying hoes in L.A.? Gee, I sure hope not, that'd be a real shot at his character, that's some Bynum ish, on top of the fact it's illegal obviously. I'd be devastated, Joel is my favorite Philly Athlete =\.
lol, jp I know what you meant.

I hope so, although it wouldn't be the worst news in the world... he can't play currently because of his foot... & I mean, even if he did have a house in L.A. it isn't anything illegal, you can live/visit & own property wherever you choose... especially if you're a millionaire it's all the more feasible to do.
Where are people getting this ish from then if it's not true? Were there rumors regarding this ?

Sorry sir but he may have his little Apartment in Center city, t he also bought a house in Manhattan Beach. And has been out there during last season a lot. Going to Movie premieres and what not. Hang'in with Celebs, ect. Now maybe you don't mind that, but when you are supposed to be doing everything you to Rehab..I do have a problem with it. I mean that was probably one of the main issues that Pompey reported on between Embiid, and his clashing with 76er trainers and not showing up for his workouts...cause he was eitin L.A., or too tired from traveling back and forth. I will wait....I will HOPE for the best. But regardless.something about this guy's attitude just worries me.

Im still waiting for you to actually prove any of this, because I think youre full of crap. I do know that last year there was a rumor that he was 300 lbs and I saw him the same day and he looked ripped. But since then the sixers have done nothing but praise his work ethic. There is however, proof that youre a vagina

You have a tendency to state non-facts as if they are facts. When you say things like this, everyone knows that you're either overstating things or just making it up.

Ericb5 wrote:Who cares if he has a house in LA or not? Embiid has been a model patient for at least the last 6 or 7 months according to various reports.
All the BS about hoes and partying is totally irrelevant. He is a 21 year old single millionaire. He can do whatever he wants to do. I have NO DOUBTS at all about his character or brains. I trust his judgement to the extent that anyone in that situation should be trusted. If he messes up he will learn. One look at his parents shows you all that you need to know in terms of how he was raised.
Also, Hinkie was the one that said that the rate of healing had slowed at the scan where they discovered the issue. That is not a rumor.
I don't know anymore than anyone else, but I wonder if at this point they have differing opinions on his prognosis, and they want to cover all of their bases before they allow him to play again. If all the doctors, or really even any of them, strongly recommended surgery I would think that they would do it. I wonder if some of them are saying to let him play and some are saying that it is a close call, and they just want to be smart about it.
Who knows?
I know that I trust the Sixers to do what is right. I am not used to feeling that way about a Philadelphia organization, but I honestly trust them to make the right call.

I literally cant find one shred of evidence that he owns a house in LA or ever lived there at all. Maybe im wrong but im pretty sure he pulled half of this "facts" out of his butt.
