But T-Rob didn't get a fair shot! He was never going to get an opportunity buried under the dominance of Jason Thompson!
Got buried behind Aldridge in POR... Got buried behind Noel in Philly.... Now he gets burried behind Bargs in Brooklyn....![]()

Just in case nobody has noticed, he's turned himself into a decent backup big playing in range of Koufos minutes and putting up in the range of Koufos stats. The Kings still never needed him but the problem was keeping JT and JJ Hickson alongside him. Two very similarly lacking players in the area of need. The excuse was probably trying to win games, and that's whole other story about a coach trying to save his own butt. Anyway.
A lineup with Gay, Cuz, Koufos, Willie, and Bargs means someone in particular or the 3 not named Cuz or Gay are getting the short end somewhere. At least they provide needs though. Koufos and Willie seem like players that can help a team in limited minutes, Bargs would have been the question mark. Is he the type of player that will positively produce in short minutes? It's never really been tested to it was a gamble anyway. Great rebounders and great defenders will usually stay on the even slope of production per 40. Scorers are a different breed and it's why instant offense players off the bench are so valuable in the NBA if a team knows how to use them.
