Agreed, Roberts, Marvin, Hairston, and the Nets 2nds could be moved for either an actual small forward or a big . Then we sign whichever of those positions we didn't trade for and the roster will be ready to go.

I'd rather have signed Seth Curry.

I like this signing, for some potential future benefit, but hope he stays in the D-league for most of the season (at least the first half).

and there you go again with your theories...

1) How many wings do you think this Roster needs? MKG, Batum, Lamb, Daniels, Hairston, Harrison, Lin and Marvin. That's 8 players who can play either SG or SF. I think that's enough. If Lamb is half as good as his fanboys suggest, we will be fine.

2) What more can you expect from an undrafted rookie who is being asked to play a new position? The contract is only partially guaranteed in year 1 and unguaranteed in year 2. Very low risk for a player that has pretty good upside. Find me another unsigned, young, 6'6" guard who has decent handles, can shoot 3s, get to the rim, defend decently and perhaps can even run PG (a position he never tried to play until a week ago).

Agreed. For a guy trying a position for the first time against the level of competition he was facing he was very impressive. I think he earned his spot and it was a very low risk signing.

pretend he's a 2nd round pick that the Hornets kept for some strange reason (do teams even do that?). perfectly fine flyer on a player with some unpolished potential and good size and offensive mentality. maybe he can handle the rock a little bit, and maybe he makes some noise in the d-league. or, maybe they cut him within a year and it's like this never happened. i thought there were tools to work with based on what I saw in the summer league games, so I am perfectly fine with this move.

I think teams are allowed to keep exactly one 2nd round player on the roster. Now with Jeff Taylor gone we have an opening.

Harrison has puzzling instincts even for a SG. Hard to see him doing anything meaningful for at least a year.

I have a hunch that Brian Roberts is being moved and that Harrison will be our third string PG. Hopefully we trade small for big.

It would be nice to trade into a replacement rim protector for Biz.

People are aware that Seth Curry is basically Pargo with a recognizable last name and less dribbling skills?

Exactly, I don't see a rookie can contribute. LIke Patrick Ewing said, we need a shockblocker and rebounder ( or Draymon Greed clone)
