I am here to express my disappoint as it pertains to the skill sets of Mr. Wiggins. I made an excellent comparison last season between Mr. Wiggins and Mr. Mayo. I pointed out that both men were exceptional athletes at the college level, however, both men will amount to mediocrity at the end of their NBA careers.
As a point of reference, both individuals were drafted by the sorry administrative team that Minnesota has assembled.
LOL at comparing Wiggins and Mayo as athletes.
We do not measure abilities based off of subjective variables as your message would imply regarding the definition of an athlete. In the world of science, we measure on the observable. Unfortunately, "potential" does not make the cut for observable variables, Mr. Zeitgeister.
My method of comparison is not perfect, but it allows for a comparison based off of observable factors. When I compare the rookie seasons of Mr. Wiggins and Mr. Mayo, I find that these two individuals share similar stats. Mr. Wiggins performed worse on all major categories with the exception of blocks and rebounds. Admittedly, where my comparison is subject to criticism is the difference in age. Nevertheless, we are not here to be the judge of potential. Judging on potential is like playing a game of charades.
