Is he improving on defense every game? I am not worrying about his offense, I wanna know how his defense is doing...
/don't know because I live in Europe and can't watch most games
He played tremendous defense against Tor. Played good defense yesterday. So he is certaintly capable but he is rookie in a new country and league, he is going to be up and down all year. Looks like he got his confidence back last 2 games.
Thanks. That's what I wanted to hear

We need to simplify his offensive role IMO. Let him spread the floor with set shots and minimize putting the ball on the floor for now. I would say 3 and D while he learns NBA caliber defense.

Well Fournier's stepping up and this will be bad for Mario if half of the season passes with little improvement from him. All the hype will be crushed.

Because 10-ish games determine how good of a player will become, right?

Still not worried about him in the slightest.
I just wish he would go on a hot streak or get some cool dunks. I need some excitement from this team.

Long term, do you see Hezojna and Founier on this Magic's roster?

He looks like a rookie. A few times he looks like he knows what he is doing, other times he sucks bad.

He's a rookie? I thought he was entering his 4th year by the way this board has reacted to his inconsistent/poor play.

I'm a little surprised his handle isn't a little better.

LOL.. I think it's cuz Mario wanted to be known as the international version of Kobe. You set yourself up that high, you bet that everyone will have a higher expectation of you.

The 5th pick (especially a SG) should be able to handle the ball consistently. Enough with this "he's a rookie" ****

Really? Here are a couple of metrics for the rookie years of recent 5th picks drafted...9 games in, there is nothing alarming
MPG / USG % / Turn Over % / Assist to Turnover Ratio / Turn Over Ratio
2015 Mario Hezonja
14.9/ 18.7 / 22.2 /.44 /20.2
2014 Dante Exum
22.2 / 14.1 / 21.5 / 1.68 / 15.8
2013 Alex Len
8.6 / 14.0 / 22.1 / .15 / 21.4
2012 Thomas Robinson
15.1 / 19.0 / 19.3 / .52 / 17.5
2011 Jonas Valanciunas
23.9 / 17.1 / 17.4 / .48 / 16.0
2010 Demarcus Cousins
28.5 / 27.2 / 18.5 / .76 / 16.2
2009 Ricky Rubio
34.2 / 18.5 / 22.2 / 2.56 / 14.2
