again, there's no need to wait for the off-season. Its about NOW before it will be late and opportunities slip away. Whiteside may leave for other team considering Heat doesn't have his bird rights and unrestricted at that.
yes team chemistry is awful lot. But how can you say Rondo is like bringing Hibbert. Rondo & his expiring contract is more of a filler in the trade. Take to consider, the trade is like Cousin and additional cap space coz of McBob's contract dumping for Whiteside and two future 1st pick (from Dragic trade)... Cousin is way better than Whiteside. The Heat are getting the best player in the deal.Team chemistry means an awful lot. Bringing Rondo to Miami is like bringing Hibbert here.
you are over stating about Rondo and forgot what Cousin's brings to the team. You need to give assets in order to get good assets in return
If that will be the case, then the Heat is just like a team competing for a playoff spot than a championship.I don't think we can add a max free agent this offseason. Our goal should be to keep Wade and Whiteside.
Sorry but that's not how Pat Riley works, he rebuilt his team thru free agency and trades. Obviously, he always package picks in trades. Riley's goal is always to have his team improve and that is why Wade did not sign multi contract so the Heat have a cap space to make a run to Durant. Riles loves chasing big name free agents, one recent is the LaMarcus Aldridge last summer. If you're really a Heat fan and follow Riley, he will not just sit and set his goal to keep Whiteside and a declining Wade.
Heat's goal next summer is to add another asset by signing a big name FA, coz we know Wade is on the decline. Heat needs to sign a max player like KD, Wade back and Hassan. But how? Heat is limited with their cap space and doesn't have the bird rights to Hassan to sign all three.
thats good.. it means my trade is good for MiamiIn my opinion the Kings fans will hate your proposal
whatever!! He's still over paid for that..Whiteside's max salary is $20,956,974 - not 23 million. Bosh can easily get the salary we pay him from many other teams so I reject the premise that he's overpaid.
